It's pretty fun and unusual to see Wagner speaking in english so fluently and acting in a Hollywood film. I've met him personally, we're from the same city, I grew up watching him. There he goes!

I saw this film today. What an incredible job they did with the sound design. I also loved the juxtapositions of beautiful, serene footage of the characters driving through the gorgeous American countryside, with grim and chaotic war scenes. I think the cast was great overall, but Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemmons gave the most electrifying performances. Alex Garland did a great job with this picture.

The version I watched was slightly different: one of the characters was having a diarrhoea but the toilet at the Starbucks was locked, the horrors!

Incredible movie, I saw it today. I am totally blown away by how good this was. Garland is truly one of the greatest directors of modern cinema, and straight up one of the best screenplay writers ever. I love every film he's either written or directed, and Devs is among my favourite TV series. If he's involved in a production, I'm gonna see it without any hesitation!

This movie was a visceral in your face drama action anxiety fuelled story set in a possible American future. It doesnt need the politics and leaves us not talking sides except the main characters. I know people say its like this and that but for me it was also like vertigo comic series the DMZ.. which i loved!

For the longest time I did not like watching Kirsten Dunst, but this movie, and all the interviews I’ve seen and heard related to it, have changed my mind. I’m excited to see what she does next.

We should also take in account was that the WW3, Finno Korean Hyperwar, and WW4 veterans won flawless victories at Golden Gate Bridge, Bunker’s Hill, Hollywood, the Alamo, Broadway, and Harpers Ferry as much they did at Russia-China War, Vietnam-Afghan War, North Korea-Iranian War, and Cuba-Venezuelan War. Their tactics during Second, Third, and Fourth America Civil Wars are the sole reason that they won against Thanos, God Emperor, and Darkseid

As a humanitarian worker served in war zone before this movie brings back flashbacks for me. Very real except I am with fellow humanitarian workers not journalists.

This movie had a lot of missing parts, Didn’t show how this movie started out. Maybe a part 2? There was not even scenes of people looting😮? Much needed for improvement!

I think if it had the kind of start you would like, it would be very tiring. There is no need to make a film about how the civil war started because you can already see that this is due to the polarization of the two sides. The film is self-explanatory.

@brendtbarbur2318 I did, and it should have been titled " War Photos " I thought Kirsten and Caley were great. But the build up to the movie was like a bait n switch in my opinion. It was a road trip movie with some intense scenes. The movie left me empty, then again I'm 60 and I've seen movies very similar to this. The cinematography at times was awesome but it wasn't consistent due to its budget. This movie is already polarizing you either love it or hate it. And maybe that's why they named it Civil War.

Wife and I saw this movie yesterday 4/14/24 and I'm sorry but we both at some point during the movie fell asleep. Sure there were some intense scenes in the movie and some good acting but it just didn't grab and hold our attention. Not a movie we would recommend.

Disappointed in this movie … this movie is more about the life of a war photographer/journalist instead of an actual civil war. Definitely needed more civil war scenes but instead you get a bunch of scenes thrown together in this messy movie.

Can't believe I wasted my money on this hoax. Not a single motivation, no world building, no character development. President doesn't even have a name. By the end of the movie, I didn't care about the ending, because you gave us nothing to care about. 1/5 stars and that 1 leans heavily on the action scenes.
