To be fair, Tobey's the only spiderman who got movies depicting him in his twenties. TH's a teen and in ASM2 AG graduated from high school. So, they haven't really had the chance to move out and experience society like Tobey has.

Tom Holland's Spiderman also invented his own web fluid, and the original web-shooter. Tony Stark gave the shooter an upgrade in the suit, but it was still Peter Parker's web fluid that was being used.

Hang on, I'd say Hollands Spider Sense is stronger for 2 reasons: 1. He was able to close his eyes and fight past Mysterios drones to get to him. 2. He was able to sense that Osborne was no longer Osborne from the other room. Like, how strong is that Spider Sense that you can tell when someone has had a dangerous mental shift?? I also vote more on Garfield for his taunts. Holland is funny, don't get me wrong, but Garfield has that biting snark that Spider-Man is well known for. Holland is more goofy and awkward. Still funny, tho.

How does that equate to better Spider Sense? Him sensing a personality change? Dude you are greatly over exaggerating it just to male him look the best. He transformed into a completely being, not a simple personality change. All Peter's could sense that. Fighting Blind is impressive I'll give you that, but it doesn't actually make a difference since the sense just tracks the exact location of the enemy, something not unique to Tom Holland. So no dude, it isn't the best Spider-Sense.

But in both instances Holland's SM had to be in close proximity to the threat. Tobey's SM could sense danger from a far greater distance.

I actually disagree when it comes to spider sense. Tom's Spidey was avoiding Doctor Strange with his soul out of his body, aka without being conscious. I think that feat alone wins this category.

Tobey's Spiderman is the best and my favourite. I can relate to his both personal and professional life situations/struggles. Raimi Spiderman movies always got the Heart in the right place. Even the Spiderman 3, which is considered to be a bad movie has some heartwarming moments. From "Aunt May's life lessons" to "Peter forgiving Sandman", you always feel for the characters and connected to them. Also Raimi movie has best, iconic romantic scenes like upside down kiss, backyard conversation, romance on the web and my fav The Great Thing about MJ scene etc. You can always relate to Peter n MJ in these movies because it feels like u r trying to express ur feeling to your school crush to win their Heart.

The suit category seems a bit unfair for Holland since he did design his web-shooters and also synthesized his own webbing. Garfield simply used Oscorp’s BioCable for his webs.

@@luigitrippitelli2333 don't forget tom was spider man for months before he met tony. he already knew how to make his own webs and at the end of the first movie he beats the villain he couldn't beat with the suit without it. by the second movie the only real features his suit gave him were different web options, which he ran out of by the end of it and had to beat mysterio using only his physical strength, intellect and spider sense.

I'm a Tobey nerd, but y'all failed to give Tom his due. His original suit and web fluid was built by him and not Tony Stark, his spider sense is elite based on the astral projection scene in NWH alone, and he's arguably the brokest at the end of the same movie. Dude didn't even get to finish high school.

@@MetroidLord99 Fair enough, but they still underplayed his sensing abilities in the video. He sensed Norman switched over to Goblin before anyone else noticed, and that's a subtle thing to be in tune to compared to a taxi being thrown at you. Again, Tobey is my favorite, but I feel like they didn't give Tom a fair shake.

@@sarah2cold377 cause alot of the other stuff is comparable, astral projection is a unique thing only in modern marvel movies, you can compare the normal situation spider sense, and there strengths, but astral projection was a situation that not all of them could of experienced so you can't compare it to the feats of strength and the like

Regarding strength, I would have liked to see mention of Tom's spidey effortlessly catching the arm of the winter soldier like it was nothing, and stopping the war hammer of that alien dude in infinity war. Sure, less strength than stopping a train or lifting a pile of rubble, just mathematically, but coolness factor is pretty high. And I agree with the other sentiments that Tom's spidey is the most technically advanced in his own right, inventing the web fluid and doing high tech gadgets. Garfield is nr 2 and Tobey pretty low tech, but on the other hand, his movies were pre smartphone era. Limited by his time.

he also held together that ginormous ferry in the homecoming for a pretty long time. Sure iron man helped after a while but still him able to hold that ship together is pretty impressive and was pretty disappointed he didn’t mention that in the video.

I think the ferry was excluded because they werent sure if the suit helped, also didnt last v long, I think the rubble was a bigger feat, at least emotionally if nothing else. I'd agree on the spider sense except it's called Peter tingle lmao dont get me wrong I love all 3 of the spiderman portrayals tho

Not at all dude. It didn't sense evil intentions, it sense the Green Goblin's spirit. Something that is very easily detected by the Spider-Sense. Thus, it not making Tom's any better than Tobey and Andrew's.

I will not stand for the Tom Holland Spider-Man hate! (All in good fun haha) - Where’s the credit for the web fluid/shooters he created at 14/15? - Distance is a weird way to quantify the spidey-sense, and doesn’t account for how Peter was able to use it to overcome Mysterio’s hallucinations, protecting the box from Strange while in astral form, and sensing the shift in Osborn and the fact that he posed a danger to May - I think Tom’s Peter deserves at least partial credit for saving the universe in Endgame even if it wasn’t alone

Tobey's Spider-Man was really the brokest because he got to be depicted post-college, that's why. Concerning the Spider sense, I think Garfield realising there was an issue in the city from Gwen Stacy's apartment the first time was a dope feat. Also, Tom's Spiderman sensing there was a problem when Norman's personality changed to the Goblin's is a huge, huge feat because he was able to hone it down to like a "microscopic" level.

the evading while in astral form gives holland the sense, the test of strength of having to keep a boat together is way more impressive than the out of suit rock pile, and also, how can you say that his suit does everything for him when you just used the pile of rocks without suit in the video. I prefer Tobey but this was the sloppiest by the numbers you have done

nah the webs he shot kept the ship together until guess what iron man saved him. and I prefer Tobey too. but y'all gotta look at the facts for Tom. his spiderman weak. I get the scene in homecoming with the debris on him and what it's supposed to mean but looking back Tobey held up a wall over mj for like 5 completely minutes. yeah he was struggling a bit but after a few seconds he tossed it like it was paper lmao and all he said was, THIS IS REALLY HEAVY. compared to Tom's, HELPLPP HELLO SOMEONE HELP. like okay so much for being able to lift 10 tons lmao

I feel like the web slinging ability is brushed over a bit, literally at 5:12 one suit has 576 web shooting combinations. That's gonna get the job done best, getting a cup of coffee be damned! Toby is my fav because I'm a millenial.

Tom Holland's spider sense is way better than the others (at least it's better displayed), looks like you didn't counted the fact he used it to fight "blind folded" against mysterio's drones (perfectly dodging bullets) or when it made his body move on it's own when doctor strage punched his... soul? Conscience? Out of it

@@zachbrown8303 no, because Tobey couldn't see the Green Goblin. If you watch that scene Tobey's spidersense goes off well before the Goblin is even visible in the sky. The Goblin didn't appear until a few seconds after Tobey looked up into the skies, but by that point Tobey had already spent moments scanning the crowd trying to locate the source of the danger.

At the end of No Way Home, Tom's Spiderman is living alone in a run down apartment with no job. The movies showed how he progressed to reach that state, which I appreciated. And the character feels more like a teenager than the others (Peter Parker is supposed to be 15-17 years old). Many of the Tom Holland movies, IMHO were there to show life lessons and to let the character evolve to the Spiderman we know.

Tobey didn't just play Peter Parker /Spider man, he embodied the role so well that he may have been the real one. In his movies he felt the least cartoonish andmore realistic/mature than Andrew's awkward imitation or Tony's soft fun childish reboot.. It was no contest really.

Tobey is by far the WORST Spider-Man. His personality is obnoxiously mediocre and his acting is subpar.

Rewatching Spider-Man 2 about 6 minutes in he snags a piece of pizza out of a guys hands from at least across the street while balancing 8 boxes in his other hand. Leaving us to assume he brought it back to his own hand in one piece from the other guy with a webline. Way better than Andrews soda pop.

Everybody's generation has a Spidey & Toby Maguire is mine!! I will say Tom is a good actor & has been a good spidey since the avengers movies he's in & I enjoyed NWH with both of them in it! I'm just sad that the spider-pig wasn't in it, not even for a funny little segment!! That would have been legendary!!

Unfair numbers since Holland and Maguire has 3 movies (4 for Maguire if you count NWH) while Garfield only has two (though 3 if we count NWH) Garfields numbers could be lower due to lesser screen time.

I'd also like to argue that Holland's own statistics were downplayed with his spidersense and intellectual prowess of making his own web fluid and shooters and other spidergear when he was 14/15 years old before Tony's tech suit.

Tom should get the strength point due to holding a ferry together with his webs. Yes, Iron Man comes to help after a couple seconds, but for a short time he did do it himself. I think it was MIT who dis an actual study on it to show exactly how much strength was used and it goes way higher than Toby's train feat.

Tom gets credit for saving half the universe. They don’t win that fight without him, and Stark doesn’t make the time machine without seeing his picture.

For the spider sense, tom could not only find out that the goblin took over osborne but could dodge dr strange in the astral dimension, wich is normally impossible

Tom Holland is a new Spider-man post-No Way Home. His first films were his origins and he hasn't reached his potential yet. I'd be interested to revisit this after Tom Holland has a few more films

I think because he was wearing stark-made spidey suit that had a lot of tech and safety features in it. His actual strength was when he was wearing his homemade suit.

Dunno about spider sense, Hollands version could use it to control his body when strange knocked him out of it. Seems pretty strong to me. Hollands Spidery also created his own web shooters and fluid too.

Toby and Tom are both my favs for different reasons. I guess the best way I can sum it up is that I feel that Tom is more than a worthy enough of a successor to Toby, though I would have been fine with Toby playing an older spider man this whole time...

Film theory made a great video on this subject. Tom Holland held a ferry together in Homecoming, and the strength calculated to hold it surpassed that of Tobey Maguire.
