The purpose of changing the tone and pitch is clearly laid out in your description, that being a strong creative effort to produce a duet between the two - without having the end result be something too forlorn from the original song. Wow.... altering Regis Altare's voice in a remix like this is seriously disrespectful to the original voice. He even said it himself in his past streams that he doesn't appreciate having his voice altered just to fit the other's voice tone. He didn't work hard for his cover just to get his voice altered like this. Also, Altare made his Everything Goes On cover way before Kobo did, but he's "ft." here? Another form of disrespect.

personally as someone who studies music for my course in college. personally this is all in all a good cover AI has had issues where they lack any real emotion so it will always feel hallow but tuning and all in all everything else is ok, just the use of AI has been wildly an issue when it comes to COVERS in general especially when they don’t state in the title they used said AI to fix certain things (which to me is disingenuous to the creator and original voice) All issues I have with this cover while blending both voices is “Sacrifices”. I consider it a massive disservice for an artist mixing them to change their voice or scale or pitch to a certain extent where it doesn’t even sound like the original artist. There is a reason why Altare personally doesn’t like having his voice altered. You even changed how Kobo sung the song. While that, is his music liberty there is a certain prowess in knowing that people should respect artist integrity at all All of this leads now where. Everything sounds nice, but this attempt should have been made in hopes to use altares original voice and how both of them sung this cover differently as well. Which to me is their style choice. I personally would have liked it myself if it wasn’t for these glaring issues. But this is all I can really say as feedback all in all good cover but how it got here was a little mixed. My only feedback is you remember to keep artist integrity because honestly this is a really nice mix, despite using stable diffusion. I have no qualms in using AI for covers but please state in the title that you used AI to make this cover. I also find it a massive slap in the face when the VTUBING community is against AI when you used AI for this song. All in all It’s all I can really say Rating it 7/10 for cover

i do not like this video. not only does it use AI generated images (which most VTubers are strongly against) it also has such strong pitch correction on Altare's voice that it sounds robotic and really different from his natural voice. Akai is clearly smart and determined enough to make something that sounds decent i just wish those skills were used better
