That head setup is one of the more insane bits of head attachment I've ever seen. All that to prevent partsforming... and yet I have to admire the technical skill.

Ok, I don't know if this was intentional or it's the beers I'm drinking, but the end skit seems like exactly what would happen if Op and Megs were on The Muppet Show. Which is the absolute highest praise I can offer.

When megs got on the table I was expecting IDW prowl to show up.

This gargantuan Prime makes me glad that I didn't buy Powermaster Prime from Titans Return even though the smaller Hasbro version remains decent as well. Power Baser can even stand head-to-head with 12-inch Marvel Legends figures. Now I wish that he'd be on a store shelf somewhere.

Great review. Awesome update of the G1 PM Prime. Having the original the powermaster in the grill was also quite fickle. Never stop with the skits at the end. Always worth the watch.

I managed to track down my own Power Baser, and snagged the Marvel Comics head upgrade. It's now my favorite TF toy ever and it's not even official! And I never would have known it existed if I hadn't run across this review, so thank you!

I really hope that one day we get a Powermaster Prime that incorporates the idea for Roller that was in the concept. Roller was initially supposed to be a Headmaster for super mode. And the rifles were going to be Targetmasters. Making PM Prime a Head-Target-Powermaster.

You are the luckiest guy in the world moving a gen one Power Master Prime connected to the trailer hitch and NOT having it go SNAP! My trailer hitch broke in less than 5 minutes. My younger brother GENTLY pulled the cab across the floor and the cab kept going while the trailer went SPLAT! I thought I was just really unlucky but over the years I have read that TONS of them did that. On the subject does anybody know of a replacement available for said crap hitch?

Love this version of Optimus as the power master.I have been thinking thou if Hans hobby took the base robot and change the head and the chest plate and got a new trailer this would be a cool remodel for Thunder Clash as a upgrade from his G1/G2 style. Loved the skit at the end.

Just got God Bomber on this guy, had him in Robot mode a few months and today was the day for combination. Bloody hell this thing is massive. I mean bloody hell!!! Have the Marvel Comics UK head on it too now, looks stunning.

I just got mine today, and it was a struggle in combine mode. The top pieces that form the base of the head in combine mode won’t stay on the tabs on top of the cab, but it sits flat. It’s a pretty sweet fig. My first 3P MP fig.

First Megatron has to use a box to look taller, then he needs to be picked up by his really tall allies just so he can yell at them in the face. Lol did he forget that he can fly?

Also emgo the combined mode has 2 upgrade kits. One is a hand upgrade that gives him fully articulated fingers. The second is fully articulated finger WHITHOUT the blue and a comic accurate head for American buyers. Since most Americans were introduced to power master optimums prime through the comics which this is not FULLY comic accurate.

Ending in a nutshell: Optimus superior, Megatron inferior.

That cab mode could have used a parts forming. You can slide all that junk with some cool side covers on the trailer.

I thought I had a circuit board issue where it would not light up. I found out that it was plugged in wrong at the factory. It was upside down. The battery should be facing up. It was not on mine out of the box. The led lit up just fine. However with it being upside down the circuit board did not allow the light to be seen.

This guy and Star Saber are just gonna murder all the Decepticons. And if they’re not enough, they’ll call up Fort Max

Poor Megs...trying to use a platform to be taller, than attempting to sent Prime to Suplex City, and finally using his head to use as a battering ram to comedic effect. Still that bucket head of his must have protected him from getting a COD or Concussion On Delivery.

The biggest disappointment with the Hasbro TR Powermaster Prime is the lack of a small robot mode. The more I see, the more I like third party over brand.😊

Sadly the unlicensed third party stuff seems better than the licensed stuff.

The combined mode is pure awesome. The trailer and Optimus separate just doesn't do it for me as much.

Aaagh, it's sold out everywhere and I just discovered it exists today! Now I have to go to used sellers and probably pay a mint for one...But Powermaster Optimus is my absolute fave version of the character thanks to the Marvel comics run. So now that I know this exists I MUST HAVE ONE. Plus that upgrade kit with the Marvel-comic style head and hands...
