It’s just an old tired useless argument. Players won’t stop taking much more money because it may make them a little softer.

I'm pretty sure the PGA Tour's new signature events paying $3.2M to the winner is motivating to those players. You can never have enough prize money, or Sponsor money either. $600M for Rham, is incredible in any world though. I wonder what they'd give Scottie? And then the next phenom etc?? Bryson and Koepka are different, and behave much like what you state...they don't seem to change for what prize money is there or not...but I think that's the exception.

If you paid attention, you would note that the leaders DO play together in the last round of LIV and that they tee off on #1.

Only one. And winning against a weak field, like 6 times so far. On LIV you have to beat DJ though. And Rham, and AK. The LIV field, aside from Koepka and Bryson don't seem to do too well against that weak field either. Two LIV players did finish in the top 25....against that 'weak' field at the US Open...and Bryson showed that LIV money has not changed him. Yet, it's only his second Major ever. And yes, he also has a lone Major this year. Only one.

@@wreckim Bryson's 2nd yes...just like Scottie...both of them 1 Major each...maybe won it twice, but still only have 1 Major each (Scotty the Masters and Bryson the US Open). Lost 2 out of 3 times against Bryson in Majors...and Bryson is only 12th on LIV...just saying. But it's your PGA illusion...live in it hey...lol

@@calross7143 They're all basically PGA Tour players, until they sign with LIV. Suddenly, they have cuddies I guess. They're not any better or worse, either way...but I do know that the next Major winner could come from anywhere, including a name no one is really thinking about. How $600M is justified for Rham etc...and how long that kind of stuff lasts is goin to be interesting. Peace.

@@wreckim We were all golf fans, but the PGA and golf media turned us into either PGA fans or LIV fans. All the golfers are professionals so the money should never have been the issue...but the PGA and golf media jumped on their high horses and condemned the LIV guys for taking the "blood money", and telling everyone who wanted to listen it's not real golf with it's no cuts, limited fields, that it will never last etc. Then the hypocrites turned around and started to chase that very same "blood money", and copied the limited fields and no cut events. The players that stayed with the PGA now want to be rewarded and after doing the SSG deal, they realized they will still not get the type of money that LIV paid. That's why they are chasing Yasir...they want more! The PGA are using a fake and irrelevant OWGR to keep LIV golfers out of Majors but the Majors are starting to realize that they can't keep LIV guys out because their tournaments will lose their prestige. LIV guys are happy where they are, don't want to play on PGA, just want to be treated fairly with entry into Majors. So LIV is growing and doesn't need the PGA...but the PGA needs the LIV players because their tournaments are losing traction. But still the PGA expects Yasir to throw money at them...that is a real joke! We'll wait and see what happens. I hope their is no deal and that the tours stay separate. They can rather start a Round Robbin tournament in which the 2 Ryder Cup teams and the Presidents Cup team compete against a LIV team at the end of every year, in 2 to 4 Ryder Cup type of event. Anyway, that's my 2 cents... PS: Just wanted to add the following: Golf is not an American sport like NBA or NFL...it is a world sport with way more golfers and golf fans internationally than in America. PGA has monopolized golf for their own benefit and for the benefit of the American golf fan. We in the rest of the world have had enough of staying up after midnight to follow tournaments. I for one, am longing back to the days when the European Tour was just as good as the PGA with the top players and some of them just crossing to the US for a couple tournaments a year. So I am happy with LIV and that they are taking golf to the rest of the world again. Slightly pissed off that they are having too many tournaments in the US, and would rather see them having tournaments in South Africa, France, China etc. So, how many American golf fans are following LIV golf doesn't really matter because America is not the center of the world or the golf world, but how many golf fans around the world follow is much more important...
