As someone who saw the match myself, they tried a strategy which would've worked with Alba and Messi but they should've realized not having the skill to pull off a flank like they wanted to would only result in a loss, they also didn't use Busquets either, a lot of the time the sequence was just pass to the side, get overloaded by Houston, pass back to defenders and pass to the other side with the same tactic, so on and so forth until Houston got the ball and counter-attacked and with Miami's defense without Alba they couldn't really do anything, you can tell they just had a really flawed strategy because the first half ended with 49% possession for Miami and 51% possession for Houston and yet Miami had 1 shot on goal at the end of the first half, but Houston had 18, this match really showed how dependent Tata Martino truly is on Messi, Alba and Busquets for his strategies, not only that but the terrible passing by the Miami side was what gave away the ball, overall the first half was just absolutely terrible playing by Inter Miami while in the second half I could see them coming back but the first half was so bad that if they had the second half's strategy the whole match they could've won but a 4-3-3 without Messi and Alba just isn't gonna work

And to add insult to injury, the Season Ticket Prices was sent out the next morning. It's not good. One of friends who is a Day One Supporter paid $250 for that Final before the General Sale. He was hoping that Messi is well rested to play, but Messi didn't play. Now I don't know if he'll renew because his tickets are going to be $4k now for his two seats. WHY can’t they just stop BSing and say that MESSI is injured, give him time and then give a possible return date. This whole mystery with Messi being injured or not is actually driving me away from Inter Miami, especially seeing them lose like this. It’s a shame.
