I’m still baffled how the police publicly name Eddie AFTER jason tells them Patrick literally died while floating in the air and having all his limbs broken, while Eddie was closer to jason. What? How would they make sense of that?

It’s realistic. Eddie was part of 2 murders, so it’s easy to be suspicious of him. Police don’t necessarily believe in magic, they are just trying to connect the dots. The only reason we think like this is because we know everything.

He’s also a great example how fear, grief, and propaganda can poison us. Jason was not a bad guy he was a kid that went through some awful shit and was turned by fear mongering and propaganda of the satanic panic

yeah, I though Steve was gonna die this season especially when this episode ended on a cliffhanger. I wanted to rage quit this series because Steve is the backbone of this series but I had to keep watching to see if Steve really dies. so stayed tuned for the next episode!

What's the tea with Jason? Does he think he's doing a good thing or not? Because he and these other residents of Hawkins except Erica doesn't know what's been going on for a while. I don't like him. I feel bad for Eddie and I love him. Favourite Russian this season is Enzo. I remember when I watched it, I freaked out. Everyone's reaction to Steve at the end of this episode, I had that same reaction except I cried. I love Steve ❤. Can't wait for the next episode.

I think Jason starts out thinking he's just bringing his girlfriend's murderer to justice, which is an admirable motive, but he falls victim to his own grief and pride and anger, and then completely misinterprets what he sees through the only lens he has for it: the Satanic panic of the 80s. As a result he turns into one of the most tragic kinds of villains, the kind that uses good motives and honest mistakes to lock himself into a cycle of rage and revenge.
