I'm very happy for Jungkook and his global success!! At least for once, we have an "Idol" that appeals to all sexes and actually does have a super-nice, positive attitude towards his fans. Jungkook is never rude, never stuck up - this most likely bothers some people, who would like to diminish his accomplishments and de-throne him from his excited, genuine happy phase!! This is his first solo album and he has been talking about it for months, having a very natural and human perspective on it ...not sure if he can manage to get it done on his own (as he did say working in a team BTS-team is easier, and generates less pressure). I do realize, HYBE pulled many resources together and he was NOT a one-man team getting it done, but choosing the songs, learning the English lyrics (that is tricky) at a super fast pace, and improving the voice melodics was NOT an easy task. Let's not forget the photo shoots for the album, the traveling for video recordings, etc - all he got done between June and September, that's a lot to get done!! The Today's Show mini-concert was nice, not sure was prepped properly, I mean JK and the staff on stage were simply cold :( That one goes on Today Show's "bad prep" list - TV events outdoors in NYC in November, come on guys - you don't know your own weather? Super unprofessional, even with short notice, that is a bad mistake (or oversight). The little girl was amazing, such a tiny sweetie!! JK wished her "Happy B-Day" and it sounded, like he wanted to let her know, if she cries, he might too ;) (don't forget JK is sensitive and sheds many tears himself on stage, at concerts, or at fan meets). I would never assume, he had any ill intentions, his expression was endearing not "sarcastic". People are really used to IDOLS treating them like "trash" for such a long time.....they don't know what to do with somebody who is genuinely nice to them!! JK is humble and grounded & has a very straightforward point of view (he mentioned it in an Apple Music interview, this came out today as well) - ARMY solidifies the success, without ARMY there would be no BTS, no Jungkook.....no global fame and popularity. He is 100% right! Without fans, listening to his music, buying the CDs, streaming, and buying the merch .....he would be just one of the South Korean singers, who never get streamed, or played outside their own country. I'm very proud of Jeon Jungkook - HE DID IT!! I knew he could use his spidey senses and with his mature attitude towards music, his talent in singing - he is becoming a Global pop star! And he deserves it! Not to rain on "anybody's parade" (referring to the negative people, trying to bring him down or create gossip) - Maybe "THEY" would prefer an idol, who generates a ton of gossip, trashes hotel rooms, throws huge parties with drinks & drugs (You know the good, old American way), dates multiple women weekly and his pictures never leave the tabloids (sarcastic sneer here).... JUNGKOOK is the total opposite - He is actually loved because he is sensitive and humble and isn't that a change for the better? Why having a nice IDOL, a nice, good person is so difficult to accept? He stole my heart more than once, lol And I became ARMY myself...wish him everything that's BEST, because HE is WORTH IT.

I think his interview with Zane Lowe/Apple said it all. JK even again addressed the use of f-k and I took from that that he only used the word to be accepted as being a grownup and that it was expected in the American Music Ind. He doesn't use this language when he performs Seven now and even in Standing Next to You, there are 2 words - Funk and Flock that probably had been the f-k word but he chose the other. He was poised and exact in his interview and made it known that - no - he is not somebody else off the platform but in fact the same person on stage as he is in life. I think Zane was expecting him to express in agreement with other artists like Harry Styles who stated they feel it was difficult to be 2 different people... not JK. He made it clear that he accepts himself in whole as a BTS member and real person in and out of the performance/life zone. I was glad to hear it. I know he was not pleased with the performance part in the morning on Today, and probably just wanted to exit stage left. He also stayed clear of going in to the crowd to the little girl as to stay away from possible sickness. He has a schedule to keep and already wasn't feeling good with his voice. He is playful... just watch Suchwita, Suga has said many times he knows that JK will be as much a pesty kid when they are 60 to them as he is now... cute. I think Hoda was trying to lure him over to the girl but JK wouldn't have none of it. He was being safe and addressed it in a way to give her attention without touching. I was kinda ticked at Hoda for groping about with the issue too long.

This sweet natured young man has flourished in front of our very eyes over the last 10 yrs, his words created overwhelming joy for this young fan. Mindless critics grow up or move on.

As a person who learned English in my twenties - which you can tell with my writing, I feel like I know what he felt at the moment of interaction. If I am in the situation I did not expect, I freeze. Because, A. Not sure if I understood right, B. Can not think very simple words. I still do it once in a while after 10+ years living in North America. It was a live show and he seemed unware of interaction with a little girl ahead. I think that put him in a spot, and that was why he said thank you without any context and told her happy birthday later. I am not fan of BTS (but I am proud of BTS as a Korean) nor commenting here and there. However I just simply felt what he went through at the moment and wanted to share my thoughts. JK's English really isn't that good. He says that himself and anyone who has watched his Lives knows he can't always think of English words on the spot. If you can't think of words in a situation you often imitate to show sympathy. It must be terrifying to stand there , expected to respond to random people and awkward situations -especially when you don't fully understand what is being said to you.

People seriously piss me off sometimes. I can't believe someone would accuse him of being mean to a little girl. It's ridiculous. If you were watching and paying attention you could see that he couldn't really hear or see what was going on. The fan closest to him had to explain that it was the little girl's bday. I find it disrespectful that some people think Jungkook would be rude to her, he entertained Lanny in a child-friendly way, that shows how friendly Jungkook is to children and that Jungkook almost seemed like a father to Lanny.
