Kudos to Oliver Stark's acting skills - the wiping away of tears while trying to comfort Christopher, to the full-on dam breaking and emotions over-flowing...

Eddie's first response after getting shot was to know if Buck is alright. And Buck's response here on knowing that Eddie is fine shows these guys love eachother beyond any friendship or bromance. Christopher is the glue.

Seeing someone you care about getting shot in front of you is traumatizing. Seeing Buck breakdown like this is really saddening. Buck and Chris' relationship is so sweet.

I sobbed like a baby when Christoper comforted him. I know buck didn’t feel like it was right to breakdown, but I always think its important when close family and parents break down like this once in a while. Shows kids that the adults around them aren’t put together or better than the kids.

Chris is so strong 😭. He could tell Buck was having a difficult time. He probably couldn't understand yet how bad the situation was but his first instinct was to comfort Buck and I can't 😭

Oliver’s acting…. amazing. Im deeply in love between the relationship Chris and Buck have, Buck feels free talking with Chris and he just gets him right away, also Buck (technically) being Chris dad, its everything that its right in this world ❤️

I swear Oliver´s acting was out of this world in this ep. I love how he was trying to be completely honest with Chris and he didn´t wanna make false promises. Chris is such a cutie and I love them so much.

I was already impressed with Oliver's acting in season 1 pilot episode with his last scene with Bobby that he isn't fired yet. But as the season progresses, Oliver never fails me. Season 4 just sealed all the remaining doubts, Oliver Stark is THE ACTOR! He can act his ass off, What's your grievance, Buck Begins, final scene of Suspicion and the finale are only few of many proofs that this guy is the real deal.

Oh jeepers why did I watch this again😢, now I’m all emotional. “It’s gonna be ok Buck” and Buck breaking down, why are these two so sweet. It’s like the freaking tsunami all over again.

I really feel torn when I watch Buck. I mean the poor guy tries so hard to be expendable but he is always the one to find out that he has a whole team behind him. But his relationship with Chris and Eddie is truly heartwarmingly special.

Q maravilla de niño, lo amo desde el primer capitulo q lo vi, siempre alegre y optimista y Eddie es su padre, pero esta consolando a Buck q esta destrozado. Ademas hay un vinculo tan fuerte entre los tres impresionante. Buck le tiene mucho aprecio a Eddie, mas desde q vio a Christopher y el buen trabajo q hace Eddie tanto como padre q como bombero y le conto su pasado desde q nacio Cris, el gran corazon q tiene y lo dedicado q es a su hijo. Para Buck, esta gran amistad con Eddie y Cris ha sido muy beneficioso, cambio su forma de ser y saco al maravillosa persona q en realidad es Buck.

This show and their relationship is just so good. They really did a disservice to the show by having this interaction just at the end of the season. We got hardly anything with Eddie and Chris. They literally are the most interesting of all the other characters on the show. They got to make up for it next season

i’m sorry but considering how buck has reacted to other members of the 118 being hurt, especially the time chim got rebar through his head which is wayyy worse than getting shot in the shoulder (? i haven’t gotten this far yet but i think it was his shoulder) this reaction to finding out that eddie will be okay is… not the reaction of someone finding out their totally platonic friend is going to live. this is someone finally letting himself realise he almost lost the love of his life. this is maybe someone realising he’s in love with his best friend after almost losing him. this is romantic love in its most vulnerable form.

To those saying that Buck and Eddie are like brothers . No they are not . Here is your proof : when Maddie was taken by her x husband and almost dies Buck didn't cry like this . Buck never got to know his brother, Daniel. I believe that Eddie and Buck will be like brothers to each other. Through and through, brothers to the end even though they are not related. Buck may not have been raised by his parents well, Maddie sure did an awesome job in doing so. In S1, Buck was shown as rowdy and known to be sexually driven, but it doesn't change the fact that since S1, he is shown as a principled man. Just like what Bobby says, his heart is always there with his actions. This scene is just one of the reasons that made Buck as my favorite. He couldn't lie, just like before, in the Santa Clause scene, when asked by Christ if Eddie is going to be alright, he didn't answer right away and provide reassurance, rather, he just stare at Christ and he only gave the reassurance when he has gotten one.
