This is the comparison between the first day I began to learn Fantaisie Impromptu and where I was at after one month. I know it was not perfect, and the song is in no way complete, but it is only after one month. I hope to play the full song for my middle school talent show in the spring. Wish me luck! people don’t realize it’s from day one of learning the song not learning the piano. he’s able to play and read sheet music already so as day one i think being able to hit the notes the way he did is very possible

But the fingers on his left hand are so flat, even after learning it for a month, that it's giving me anxiety. His fingers sometimes even curve upwards, which surely cannot be correct. I can't see his left shoulder but I bet he's pretty tense.

@@asianserenadr7776 Lmao I practice about 5 hours a day and Im about half of clair de lune rn. I could also play fantaisie's intro with treble without prafyicing it yet but its pretty hard to combine bc of the different beats

Gamer101Reborn it’s not a difficult piece it’s just the rhythm that trips people up if you know how to play polyrhythms prior it’s literally no issue

I play piano for almost a year now and I could learn that in one day too.. Maybe even faster.. If you learn how to place your hands and learned some different pieces you know many styles and can use that knowledge and training to learn other pieces way faster..

Isaac from New Town Highly doubtful. The sync of the two hands and playing it together is extremely difficult, I’m a pianist for the last 11 years of my life and I can say that.

Thank you very much for this video, I've been playing this song for 2 days (a total of 10 hours) and I was getting a little discouraged but when I saw this video I saw that I'm not really doing that badly, I hope that in 1 month I'll get it :)

How did you nail the polyrhythm first day? It would probably take me a solid month to learn to do triplets in the left hand and sixteenth notes in the right hand.

As long as you make sure each downbeat lines up, all you have to do apart from that is follow your gut and not really think about it. The second you start trying to subdivide and count the beats in your head is the second the polyrhythm becomes much more difficult than it has to be.

Simple polyrhythms (2:3 3:4) Are actually really easy and very helpful to learn because they are very common. It's just playing them fast which is hard

It took me a week to learn the poly rhythm, I got no where for 6 days and then I had a dream and it just clicked 😂

It took me two days, one day to learn the notes to the first half of the first page and one day to accomplish the polyrhythm and I've been playing 5 years. Either he had prior practice or he's just insanely good

Wow, great progress. Contragulations. I don't think I could have done so myself. However, you put far too much pedal. You need to release your damper pedal more often (max. each 2 measures), to avoid mixing harmonies together that aren't intended to be.
