Thanks, Donna, as always, for such clear instructions and great tips. What a fun and happy quilt! I have a question regarding the quilting. How long did it take from loading the backing, backing and quilt top to all of the machine quilting to be finished for this quilt?

Good morning Donna and all the "Jordan family", Thank you for sharing your talent with us yet again Donna and James, your care attention to detail and what matters and doesn't helps so many out here in the world. James' camera work captures so much that i can almost feel that i'm in there next to you. James' brilliant clarity and close up work with the camera shows that he too does his bit of bringing your fabrics and quilts to life. I'm not a Kaffe fan because he is just too bright for me but that doesn't mean that i can't take his fabrics and imagine them "quietened" down, lol, because the art work in the patterns is beautiful. Thank you flower for another happy morning treat. Crafty hugs to you and all at Jordan Fabrics, from Norah, Glenochil Village, Scotland

Cheers, Norah, and Scotland! I spent the better part of a month in Scotland (I had a fabulous time). My twin sister & I (with husbands) took our 83 year old Mother to Scotland to see "her" castle (Huntly Castle in the Highlands; actually she & her sister inherited the castle; they turned it over to the Scottish Government many, many years ago as they could not afford to restore it - it was during the Great Depression here in America). We all had a most excellent time, and the Scots were absolutely wonderful (we made a lot of friends 😀). I look forward to returning some day soon (I would LOVE to live there! Maybe even teach quilting, painting, etc.). My Family hails from the Gordon Clan territory in Huntly and more recently (in the last 100 years from Bridge on Weir in Renfrewshire). My most favorite place in Scotland? Wow, that's a tough one. But if I had to pick a village/area, I would say Pitlochry & around Lock Tay. Quilt on, Norah, Quilt on. Lindsay, Sacramento, California (Land of the Crazies - and, no, I don't belong to that club).

@@lindsayschilling8707 WOW, thank you so much Lindsay for telling me about your lovely Mum and Auntie. I too am a twin, but mines was a twin brother who was only on earth for 20 of my 56years. I am so glad that my fellow Scots made you feel welcome during your time here, but you will have noticed that some of us inherited the daft gene or fun gene depending on your point of view, hee hee hee. My Mum was born in Bannockburn but i don't know where my Daddy was born, i only know when he and Mum married he lived in Fallin (2 miles from Stirling). I look out onto the Ochil hills and if i go to the end of the road i can quitely clearly see Stirling Castle and Wallace's Monument. My Mum's lot come from Ayrshire and her daddys' lot from Glasgow, but she had Aunts that lived in Renfrew and we used to go through every now and then when my Daddy had a day off and could spend the day with us. My Daddy had a motorhome that we used to travel all over Scotland in including up to Huntly. I love it when someone takes the time to reach out and tell me about themselves and talk to me, thank you my flower for making my day that bit brighter. IF you do come across again to my neck of the woods please get in touch as i love to meet people from somewhere else, as it allows me to travel even just in my mind. Take care flower, Norah, Glenochil Village, Scotland

I just love all the colours of this quilt. Its really a “happy” quilt. Until i watched the video i wondered how on earth it will be put together but your excellent tutorial makes it look easier than i thought. Donna your tutorials are absolutely excellent - once again the video Master has done a perfect job so that one can follow with great ease. Thank you and all the Jordan family for the wonderful inspirational work. My day begins with a smile when i receive your emails. Thank you sooo much.

This reminds me of Morning Glories. They use to grow wild in the corn fields and on the fence (in white, pink, blue and dark purple). Your quilt is beautiful. I love all the colors. I have been trying to use up my scraps for almost two years. This looks like a great way to use up a lot of scraps. Thank you for this video and wonderful new idea.

This quilt is, indeed, happy! Kaffe fabrics aren’t my cup of tea but they certainly show off the yellow and the black pieces. I’m trying to imagine the quilt with 30s fabrics or just 2 colors for the triangles. I think the 2 colors would look boring and you’d lose the fabulous center color. But I think the 30s fabric would be charming. I very much enjoy the chance to see fabrics that don’t speak to me because they challenge my thinking. It would be fascinating to see a few different color ways (2 x 2) blocks for comparison. As always, Donna, it’s a delight watching your videos. I think your habit of highlighting various patterns and companies is a mitzvah for all. Thank you 🌺
