Epic off-roading in my Jeep Gladiator and my friends brand new 2021 F150 FX4! Deep water crossings and slick thick mud made this another wild adventure. We even had time to enjoy Jeep Beach week in Daytona!

I can believe he even attempted that with his stock street (lets call them what they are) tires on that FX4. The very first thing I did with my FX4 was put new tires on it. A small lift and the right tires and that truck handles that trail no problem. Great effort though! Loved the video.

What I have learnt from this video is be smart about knowing your truck what it has on it and what it is capable of doing. I would have had the right tires and lift on that Ford before i took it through that. This could have turned into a very serious and bad situation and that is no fun.

My favorite real world experience is imaginary. Man you wanna take the truck out do it. You get to learn why you need x y z by doing x y z and needing x y z. That's why you go out with someone more experienced. To learn.

I’ve been looking for a off-road video of the 2021-2022 f150 this last week and finally found yours. I agree with the others, your buddy should’ve had better tires for this. Hopefully his truck didn’t get all banged up. Great video though! He should go back with some better tires and lift.

I’m wondering how my stock F-150 FX4 would do in the Withalcoochie(sp) forest, the wet season is coming. The F-150 seemed to handle “sugar sand” ok, my biggest worry. I’m still researching level or lift. Prayer, praise Jesus! Always the right call. I have enough Florida off-road experience to avoid that last ditch. What an adventure, no going back! All that towing I’m starting to get embarrassed for the F-150

I can't watch this. The guy in the F150 with city slickers is infuriating to me. Hopefully he's learned that you don't take street tires in mud.

Haha thanks for commenting we reaffirmed the knowledge that you can accomplish anything you put your mind to even if you have not spent a bunch of money on fancy gear! After traveling around the world we have seen that it’s only in America that you have to spend more money to consider accomplishing something. Nothing is impossible with God

You just as well could have had racing slicks on the Ford. Those as tires have no business on a gravel road, let alone a swamp.

Tiny ass mirrors on the F150. How could they be useful at all?

That's the one thing I don't like about the 2021. My previous F150 had decent sized mirrors. With the 2021 it's like if the mirror is missing a small triangle section. I can't see my rear tires when backing up (into a parking space) because of the "missing" part in the mirrors.
