Thank you so much Nili for doing this!! I’ve been waiting for it, LOL!! I have transitioned myself to use arrowroot powder in the German pancakes that we make from your recipe. I am going to switch over to the sweet potato when I run out of the Bob’s red arrowroot that I have. I think I will try the chicken strips and chicken nuggets first. Would love to try your waffle recipe… Just not sure whether the hubby will eat them!! He’s so old school and only likes Bisquick, yuck! Thanks again and have a super weekend!

glad u talk about the starch because i was wondering why u bought it. well if you have researched it and your family loves it go ahead . every family and person is different. so what ever suits u use it.

I'm excited that when I do my bigger grocery haul this month I will be getting everything for the German pancakes and waffles. We are not grain or gluten free either but I want my kids who seem to want to eat all hours of the day to have more nutrient dense options of the kinds of foods they like to eat.

I've been using coconut flour. It's easy to buy, comes in a bag that fits in my small freezer (keeps the bugs out) and I can't tell the difference in taste however it is more expensive. I keep all my mixes now, flour, pancake/waffle mix, in my freezer or else even in a sealed container it will eventually get bugs in it. Living alone, things like that last me a long time........... Cute braid....

Walmart Online sells that brand of sweet potato flour. It's the only place I can find it and Amazon wants too much for it. I've started to use it too. I bread onion rings with it and cook them in my air fryer (nom nom Paleo recipe - I substitute the sweet potato for the arrowroot. I like it better.) There are no Asian markets anywhere in a 40 mi radius around here. Walmart Online is the only way I can get it. I've also done a taste test with your Dutch baby (German pancakes) recipe flour version vs sweet potato flour on my husband. He likes yours a lot more!😁

I just found the Walmart listing and it looks exactly like mine but the nutrition facts don't match. I'm thinking they have the wrong nutrition information in their listing. Can you confirm that the bags that you have ordered have the same nutrition info that I showed in the video? Then I'll start directing people there to purchase! Thanks for the info!

Indigo Nili unfortunately I poured all the sweet potato for into a giant jar and threw out the bags. I may have 1 left on the basement? If I do I'll let you know tomorrow.

Your grain free recipes are why I started subscribing to you! Many of your recipes are our my sons favorites. Especially the chicken nuggets! I find mine on Walmart.com.

This was awesome. I don’t eat grain or gluten and this was very useful information. So glad I found your channel. I have made a lot of your instant pot recipes. Could you repost the German pancake recipe? The one you posted is actually a repeat video of your waffle mix.

I can not find sweet potato flour anywhere. I did try our small Asian food store. I am limited with where I can go with living in Alaska. Do you know of any online sites that ship it? Thanks.

I just looked at the Walmart listing and I'm thinking the nutrition facts they have listed there are wrong. The bag and ingredients looks exactly like the one I get. Hopefully someone who has ordered from Walmart can check their nutrition facts and confirm if it's the same product as the one I use!

I don't think there's an official word from thm on it but I know they discourage the use of arrowroot and that is very similar.
