Hellola, I caught a glimpse of what appeared to be a "Metropolis" movie poster hanging on the wall in the other room when you where showing how...clean...your demo room is/was, can you talk a little bit about your introduction to the film and why you like it enough to hang up a poster of it? I was introduced to the film in a World Masterpieces course for my Uni degree and I loved it, though, I was surprised I'd never heard of it before. Also, seeing as you like "Metropolis", you should check out the newest album from New York City's Avant-Garde/Dissonant Black/Death band, Imperial Triumphant (the album is called "Vile Luxury" and was partly inspired by the film--especially the score--and mixes quite well with IT's unique take on Deathspell Omega's sound and style. I use sony acid for recording, works with pretty much every plugin, and editing is fast and easy.

Hi Ola! In FAQ#7 you mentioned that you mainly listen only to metal. Do you have a handful of albums that you love + have listened to constantly ever since you discovered them? Also, do you ever fall down the rabbit hole on KZfaq devouring all the relatively newer bands making metal that you can, or do you have a rotation of albums that you cherish + couldn't go a year without listening to at least a few times, or maybe a little of both? I love learning about new bands, or at least bands that are new to me, but I've probably never gone even 6 months without listening to Symbolic, Ride the Lightning, The Bleeding, or Vulgar Display of Power. I always wondered if what my parents said would be true, that I would get over all the loud, gnarly, aggressive music I liked then when I was older. It's been 23 years since I first heard any of those records + I probably love them all more now tbh. They've meant so much to me for so long, it's difficult to articulate even. Hey ola i was wondering if you have time to recommend a amp set up.I'm a long time guitar player who quit playing in bands a few years ago. The game has changed and i sold my tube amp a few years back but your videos have inspired me to get back into it. ill be playing in my basement primarily.i had a budget of 1700 and i ordered a left hand solar a.1.6 leaving me 700 to spend i know nothing of the cpu type sound or whats the best bang for my buck.also favorite feared sound is our dying world first riff is killing.murder death kill!!!!

Guys (and 2% of the women that watch) I need help. Ok so atm I’m looking to get another guitar with a trem and I’ve narrowed my choices down to the Ibanez Genesis RG550 in neon purple and the Ibanez AZ series in that natural burst color (not the blue or orange one). The purple has some red and blue mixed into it so I think it looks pretty interesting it also comes with good hardware and so does the AZ. The AZ is Indonesian made while the RG550 is Japanese made. The only thing that giving me a hard time is the fact that the AZ has stainless steel frets. Considering how much I play this seems like an amazing feature. So should I pick what looks best and still is amazing or should I get whats slightly more practical? Or should I get a completely different guitar ($1300 max) If anybody knows any super strats that look like a RG and preferably have stainless frets please let me know! Thank you.

This mentality of internet " all free all right now" is a good way to see the next music industry?
