Depends on the range and personality/route. Heaven's feel Emiya vs Nanaya Shiki might be a stalemate. I think Nanaya could destroy the existence of any weapon thrown at him, but Emiya is probably capable of creating enough projectiles to keep him from closing in. Fate/anime Shirou vs Anime Shiki would be a pretty sissy fight compared to that. Of course if Nanaya did his last arc that'd be insta-kill.

TO Crisis7; After all, speed, skill and strength aren't everything that determine survival. It usually involves you to be defiant down to the bitter end and thinking before you act.

To Crisis7; Shiki may have gotten himself killed by Ciel and an inverted Akiha (hold on, for Shiki deciding to kill the inverted Akiha, wasn't Shiki's eyes the last thing she sees?) in two Bad Endings in Tsukihime pretty fast, but that was only due to the fact that he hadn't mastered his Eyes of Death Perception or Nanaya instincts at the time and considering whatever route it was. According to several media, Shiki could quite easily kill a Servant like Berserker once he learned how to use his Nanaya skills and Death Perception properly. And that's not too say that he's the only main character in his series to get killed in any Bad Endings or that he's actually even killed in a good number of the bad endings. Shirou gets killed in many of the Bad Endings in Fate/Stay Night too, y'know, such as many in the HF route involve Saber Alter personally killing Shirou whenever he tries to save her (meaning that like it or not, the only way to free her is to put her out of her misery... That's definitely gotta suck, but what if the uncorrupted Saber in the Fate route of all places murdered Shirou after he managed to piss her off one too many times? Sure, you actually have to try to get that Bad End, but you'd have to be a complete moron if you would willingly anger an actual medieval king with a magic sword, regardless of being male or female)(or even worse, like when Illya decapitated him only to use magic to keep his head alive or when he becomes a vegetable when he overuses Archer's arm against Saber Alter in the HF route... Okay, if your brain gets fried while fighting an enemy that has to suck even more... Oh wait, what about that time in the UBW route where Shirou agrees to Caster's deal and ends up in a situation that clearly references "I have no mouth and I must scream?" Submitting to an enemy Servant while being held CAPTIVE by them is never, EVER a good idea, especially since Shirou had canonically remained defiant long enough for Archer, his future self, to save his sorry as). And besides, any Bad End in a Visual Novel is 100% non-canon, only occurring if the player viewing the visual novel makes the wrong choice. This means that if a Visual Novel protagonist like Shiki and Shirou get killed or suffer any other horrible/unfitting fate in their respective games, it's actually the player's fault for screwing up, since canonically, the way they are ensures that they're smart enough to make the RIGHT choice. Sure, there are some exceptions, but even then they either don't stay that way for long and it's not canon.

Well, Type-Moon is making a movie of FSN, Tsukihime, and The Garden of Sinners. It is called All Around Type-Moon. It is kinda weird cause it takes place in a cafe. Sadly, it is coming out in the Mid-Summer or somewhere around that. And i totally agree with u with the cross dimension anime thing. they should make a game of this.

It would be amazing and epic if TYPE-MOON were to ever release a fighting game for Fate/stay night. Or even just as the AMV wanted, a cross between the two and do some epic battling ^^.

Shirou used the "protagonist's luck" and the "villian's overarogance" cheats to beat him. Still he only had less than 1% chance to survive his noble phantasms. So the thing we saw in UBW's end was only an extremely rare happening. It only could happen in 1 paralel word out of 1000. In the remaining 999 Gilgamesh easily kills Shirou with such a foolish thing.

And thus I go back to "Of course if Nanaya did his last arc that'd be insta-kill." While Shirou is firing up his magic circuits to trace a gun. Plus I don't think Shirou has the training to shoot a moving target.

That's some what true, but Light is a very inteligent person. He outsmarted the greatest police mind of all time with no special tranining like L went through. However, if he where to fight Shiki or Shiro in the same room they could easily kill him before he even draws his pen. Shiki + Shiro fighting skills > Lights but as for world domination Light < S/S

Heh, plus killing Berserker would be no big deal for Shiki, all he has to do is doge a strike and hit ONE point. Then BAM. Shirou beat Gil in UBW becasuse his Sword rain countered Gil's sword rain and he used the same weapon as Gil. Since UBW grants memories he had more skill with the same weapon. However Gil still has a ton of other wild cards like the flying machine from F/Z. As for Shiki vs HF Shirou.. lets see speed of the gods (Over match 1) vs really fast human speed. Trying hitting the dot of a giant slab of temple rock going at the speed of the gods. He'll get slashed apart 9x before his hand even moves.

Heaven's Feel Emiya would DESTROY Shiki. He gained temporary power equivalent to a servant. He killed god damn Berserker, a servant that was a revived demi-god imbued with extra power by mad enhancement AND the darkness taint. Compared to that, Shiki is just a normal human who can move fairly fast (nowhere near as fast as HF emiya) and delivers lethal blows. He wouldn't have a CHANCE to land a single blow on Emiya.

So that's his flaw, he can't invert to Nanaya instantly.

Meh powerlevel speculation is pretty pointless since it's all about circumstances, if Archer-arm Shirou shot a broken phantasm at Shiki miles away then he's dead, but if Shiki randomly dot stabed him while Shirou was shoping then gg. Berserker's slash speed can break the sound barrier or is around that speed, since Shirou's 9 lives was able to slash Zerker 9 times before zerker got in 1 it's assumed 9 lives=faster than sound. He got that speed by using the NP 9 Lives Blade Works.

Hmmmm I doubt it. The only way I can see shiki destroying the Noble Phantasms is with magic, or a great deal of understanding of the magic behind them. Fate Shirou will lose against Shiki. UBW will be equal or greater than Shiki. HF will Kill Shiki, because having Archer's Arm stitched on to him makes him incredibly powerful, but he will eventually die after using it. TH takes place in the dream world Len created if I'm not mistaken, it may have inconsistencies with reality.

Hey, have you played the game, Fate route? If not then you are seriously underestimating Gil's skills. In Fate he didn't use Gates on the first fight, instead he pulled out weapons one by one using their special effects to his advantage and pushed her back. Then later he unleashed sword spam and it was no contest until Avalon hax. In UBW a serious Gil would have won, just use chains and charge EA or put on his armor. That armor took many hits from Excalibur (Not Beam) without denting.

Hey don't insult Shiki. I hear all this crap about Shiro moving fast and killing berserker but Shiki is fast enough to vanish out of sight and scale walls, heck he was able to doge V Akiha's ability that hits upon seeing. Also Shiki's "Instant Death: Nanaya" move is very potent, he throws the knife at a line/point then instantly appears above them using his speed forcing them to either block the knife, which then he will go to twist the head off of the victim, or let the knife hit the point.

Not really Shirou can trace Rule-Breaker- a dagger than removes and destroy all magical bounds, curses, spells, etc. Including Nero's Soil of Genesis. Shiki is not some God, he gets killed by Ciel in fighting match to the death. He gets killed by inverted Akiha when he tries to kill her.

Hm after brushing up on my facts it's a safe bet to say that unless Shiki goes assassin and kills HF Shriou before he knows what hit him, Shiki is absolutly boned (9 lives FTW, but Shirou would kill himself traceing that x.x). UBW Shirou and Shiki is debatable (too much circumstantial crap)... but Fate Shirou would most likely lose. Also Gilgamesh is NOT weak in melee at all, if you remeber he held back Saber at melee without sword rain Gates in Fate, UBW just gives Shirou hax counters to Gates.

Does it specifically say shiki moves at the speed of "light". Did Nasu say that Shiki was even capable of killing servants? Shiki cannot erase the effect of Gae Bolg, he is pierced through the heart the instant of its effect, even if he did destroy it, he would still have a big hole punctured through his heart. You just make assumptions, no facts.

Shiki has instincts, but Shirou, or atleast UBW and Archer-arm can copy the memories of the weapon they created. Shirou was able to beat Dark Saber despite the OVERWHELMING diffrence in stats becuase he used Kanshou&Bakuya's ultimate skill that he found in Archer's memories. Skill/memory of heros>some instincts Shiki doesn't full control. Besides one of Shiki's best cards, Nanaya, is very unlikely to come out since Shirou's a normal human(Magus)and not some demon. Fate Shirou sucks ass though.

Noble Phantasms are strange phenomenon that cannot be understood by reading just a book. You talk about magic as if its a piece of cake, if so, then how come mages spend countless years studying and trying to understand magic? I think Shiki is an alright guy, but I really hate fans like you who make him seem like he's some invincible god and can kill anyone easily. Gilgamesh may not be the strongest servant in melee, but his firepower makes up for it. Ea categorized by "Anti-PLANET".
