Melty Blood and Lunar Legend Tsukihime are both based on the doujin game Tsukihime. It was a novel drama for the PC. Melty Blood is a sequel of sorts while Lunar Legend is a prequel AFAIK.

It's a confusing story, guys. Btw, SPOILERS AHEAD for the ones that have not played the game. The white-haired guy is SHIKI Tohno (The real son of Makihisa). The main guy is Shiki Tohno, but his real name is Shiki Nanaya. He is adopted by the Tohno family when Makihisa eradicates the main character's family. This is from the Tsukihime storyline. Buy the game, it's really worth it now that there's a translation out there.

Actually the light blue haired girl does appear....indirectly though, she takes the form of Arcueid in a dream, she has a bigger role in Kagetsu Tohya. What do mean the "other Shiki"

This doesn't look like the intro for the game. It has other music and well, the maker of the video took CGs and sprites from Tsukihime and Melty Blood to do this, as well as some promotional posters and stuff like that... I'll upload the original game intro if needed.
