add this line of code to your launch options for Uplay:
DXVK_ASYNC=1 %COMMAND%
And don't forget to use proton 7.37

Outstanding, that DXVK command made a massive difference. Smooth 40 FPS on medium settings, just like yours. Was quite choppy before.

You sir are a legend. Only after watching your video did I know Ubisoft can be run without Lutris. Installing it natively and with your command added it's now rock solid, performance is night and day. Thank you!

Hi Please could you explain litrle bit better the command that forces the 16:10 aspect ratio ?? Where We have exactly to introduce It ?? Does It work with all games of some? Thank you very very much, I subscribe to your Channel definitely :)

16:10 is in the graphics options of this game (and most games), either by selecting the ratio or the native resolution of the deck. Only very rarely have i found games that force 16:9 (like Fallguys)

@@NJ-Tech yeah I got a Deck, been really good so far. Prefer the desktop for FPS games but so I'm looking for console-style titles to play on the Deck. Great to have all the power in a handheld. What's your favourite game on the Deck so far?

@@ShinyVideoStuff all kinds! Farcry is a fun sandbox of hilarity so I'm enjoying the latest one a lot. I can highly recommend looking into batocera if you have a spare SD card about. I mean, I know you have loads laying about like me 😂. Console game wise, plagues tale, rage 2, titanfall 2, grid legends, trine 4, crysis 3 all run great on the deck. And check out hypercharged unboxed.. its childhood toy goodness.

Nice! Will this work similar on FarCry 5? I didn't like aot of the changes Ubisoft made to FarCry 6. While I have issues with FarCry 5, I prefer it to 6.

@@Metallian81 i havent tested it but im pretty sure it will work just fine. Adding that launch option to the ubisoft launcher will cover every game you install and run from it via steam OS.
