DDD got done dirty by many factors. •The structure deck being delayed in favor of Blue-Eyes getting imported earlier in times for it to be world’s legal. •MR4 literally coming out weeks after the TCG finally got the DDD structure deck, which really hampered the deck •Zoodiac was a thing, and they could work around MR4’s restrictions while also having a “generic enough” link Monster

I played this at 1.75x speed the whole way through and it was way more enjoyable that way. I don't love Farfa's reactions that much but I figured it would be neat to see him react to D/D/D since I know he loves that deck.

D/D/D probably is on of the most unluckie archetype in TCG history not only coming 3 weaks before Zoodiac but also after that having itself majorly restricted by MR4 and by the time MR5 came a lot of Combo decks have been running rampant which led to a lot of anticombo cards being released which kinda makes it so the deck kinda got power creeped, being just another combo deck, which is just more fragile than the meta ones. Tehnically speaking the deck is still playable still can do it's combos well, if it just got one really good pices of support it might be relevant again.

What sucks is I bet he/the community will decide "Welp, Krawlers are shit," and not try them again, despite them being really solid. Destrudo + Redox is actually a super cool engine and Gage having a playable control deck that synergizes with that engine is great.

You don’t have to summon to the EMZ unless it’s a link or pendulum they are back to MR5 now that pendulums have had their time at full power, there’s no point to highlight MR4 since it was just to nerf pendulums and highlight links which links are still busted in MR5 just now you can use fusions synchros and xyz again without feeling like they are just taking up link space in the extra deck

Because nobody has played MR4 for a while? They came from MR3 in prog and from MR5/MRR in advanced format so you can't really fault anyone for not putting stuff in the EMZ the first episode where its really relevant.

Actually they are much better in 5 because you can play extra deck cards in zones that won’t affect future plays and MR4 biggest effects on the game was “slowing” down the game so I still think they should play with MR4

Not a problem for me. I’ve been watching at 2x so long, the resulting 4x doesn’t even faze me. Heck, on computer, I have a firefox plugin that can go up to 5x (Although I usually don’t go past 2.5x)
