The Aroma vs Yubel is what I wish Yugioh was all the time. Back and further struggle matches, I do like the quick fast paced nature today but just wish that games just naturally lasted longer and isn't negate party.

this, if both decks have an equal power and doesnt relies on floodgate or negate spam the game will be so much more interesting, thats why mid range deck should be the design konami aim for, which is just make an ok board but with great grind games.

I only just now realized that the reason the duelist on the bottom always wins is because only the winner wants to submit the replay.

Face down cards can't be negated, one time I summoned Infinitrack Harvester during the opponent's turn with Urgent Schedule and activated the effect to see if the opponent wasted a negate or something since is summoned with its effects negated. The genius opponent chained Book of Moon on my own card and the search was successful. This also works if you activate a monster and chain Book of Moon on it if Skill Drain is on the field.

I think you need a slight correction cards that are face up with a negated effect can activate said effect and resolve it if the card's field position changes (went to grave, hand, face-down) you can still negate the instance of an activated effects with cards like baronne or hand traps like ash because the monster isn't a factor but the literal word clause of the card's effect is. Hurray yugioh rulings

@@Altares_V true, and even Bagooska works different, even if the card leaves the field it will still be negated.

@@Altares_V You can't activate on-field negated monster's effect and resolve it normally if it leaves the field. It only works for flipping it face-down, since FD cards' effects can't be negated. So if your, say, Lonefire Blossom gets negated by Imperm, it won't be able to summon a plant by tributing itself.

@@bridgeseller7004 but you didn't apply the well...example of the lonefire being negated by imperm, BUT you use its effect to tribute another plant monster and then turn lonefire facedown. Can it still resolve or is that still negated due to imperm?

I mean it kinda is Its not tje worst thing in the world but for a price of 1 extra deck slot you can steal games insanely easy, even if its every 5th game that quickly adds up (and its more than thaz since any suboptimal turn 1 means you are OTK-ing) Accescode is just a strong boss monster without it (debatable if its healthy since Im generally against generic extra deck bosses, but he is far from the only one of those that is running around)

In case anyone is unaware the dog wood is the best hand trap that is still available for aromage because they have tons of stuff that triggers on life gain or having more life points. Still could have been like anything else.

the player who was running the exodia deck here: it's LCS, so i was running a suboptimal list due to consistency cards like upstart goblin being banned, i'd definitely go for a different looking list outside LCS
