The thing is that caveman decks also kind of rely on staples and handtraps to slow their opponent down. I have a caveman deck which I sometimes take to locals, which usually blind seconds - but it's a 55 card pile (it ironically becomes less consistent with less cards as you risk drawing too many Normal Monsters) but it is heavily reliant on handtraps to slow opponents down and staples like Raigeki and Super Poly to break their boards next, and one of its biggest bombs to end on is Zeus, which is also gone from this format.

Winning, not just topping! Also going second there isn't really a standard line, so i just worked with what i had.

In Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links, i'm a Anna Kaboom main, and I have 3 copies of all of her Earth Machine Train cards and extra deck support!

An actual interactive duel, and all without big boi Citadel, beautiful

Earth machine played their first turn so badly, normal summon cruncher at least (and redeployment should get citadel)

With that banlist, Malicious Bane is strong AF now. I bet most surviving decks can't even out it. Malicious Bane turbo is probably enough to take Evil/Xtra HERO to top if someone can figure out the best ratio lol

@@gatocochino5594 ultimate offering, return from a different dimension=can only be activated on your 3rd turn, sixth sense, mirage of nightmare = basically start with 4 card hand to maybe draw a singular hand trap, majespecter kirin=copmuls that only be played by pendulum decks thats just the once that stick out to me on first glance there are also a lot of ftk cards that could be unbanned no problem but it's not like they enhance the game in any good way so they can stay banned

@@hurrdurrmurrgurr you wanna set a trap activate it in your opponents turn and hope that you get a 33% chance as if you mill at all thats just worse needlebugnest. remember that slifer card that is sixth sense but you always win, it's not that the condition of that card is hard especially in tear they could basically make it live every game and after 1 week everyone dropped a floodgate that prevent the opponent from putting monsters on the field and a draw 5 trap because it's a trap and therefore the draw 5 meant nothing

The same problem with all (except for one) of the old Neos fusion monsters, they shuffle themselves back into the Extra Deck in End Phase (and Cosmo Neos has actually been out for a LONG time) Cosmo Neos can only activate its effect the turn it's summoned, so it needs to be summoned on the opponent's turn to get any use out of its effect; the only way to currently do that is by using Favorite Contact. Plus it requires multiple Neo-Spacians for material (and very few are any good), and requires GY setup to get to (so you have to build a deck leaning heavily towards that end). Engage Neo Space encourages playing more Neo-Spacians so it is a bit easier, but that's not a card that competitive HERO decks regularly play. In this format it's a borderline busted card, because it can easily get you a Spirit/Stratos/Blazeman trigger or get Prisma on board

Because without Infernal Rage there's no point to make a competitive hero neos strategy. Currently we only have a searcher which is Spirit of neos. With Infernal Rage you can search Favorite Contact and use Spirit of neos to search the missing material for Cosmo Neos (so you can search Neos fusion to send the last fusion material at the end of the combo).

Droplet can only negate your opponent's cards.

There is no monster on other field so Droplet cannot be activated

MtG being notoriously bad for how unplayable the game is regularly because they refuse to ban cards until way too late to salvage any semblance of fun out of their formats that SPECIFICALLY ARE TIME SENSITIVE.
