Hey Josh, Save your old tires & you can put them on your trailer & drive your skid loader with tracks on the tires & not touch the trailer. That's what we do with small dozer or crossing black top or concrete.👍

You are exactly right. If you've ever owned a lot of land then you know the necessity of some UTV's or four wheelers. I think they are easily the most used pieces of equipment on a farm. For instance, when you are on the far corner of the farm and Mrs. Stoney Ridge needs to something, she can jump on the John Deere. That's one among many others like what you mentioned.

So you still have the body from the Jeep...great. If you intend to use the Jeep for things other than farm use, you will need the serial number. The VIN plate is located on the engine side of the firewall, passenger side. It is easily transplanted from the old body to the new body. Great to see the equipment. Each piece plays a part in the daily operation of the farm.

Oh dear. Some of that equipment should be stored in a covered structure. i can store most any of those tractors for the winter for you just send them down with the key in case I need to move them. Lots of money invested in equipment. I do love Earl for sure. Thanks for sharing.

The ventrac really is underrated. Ironically I was picking up my JD 650 and while I was driving back, three different towns had their fairly new Ventracs out mowing some very very steep highway and overpass ditches. Very informative video, thanks for making it.

Hey Josh. You have lots to keep you busy, but that keeps us young. I recommend a horizontal exhaust pipe and muffler for Earl. Those give you a low profile for getting under trees and also dump the exhaust behind you. I love this setup on my 135 Massey Fergusons.

If you do hay with it you can't have an exhaust like that because it will start a fire

Farming simulator Central that’s true, but I don’t do hay. I actually have both the vertical and horizontal exhaust and can switch based upon what I’m doing. Pretty much always run horizontal.

Pick up a old unique tracters and have a collection of them so when you hold your and leaning classes there it would give peaple something awsome and old to look at .I seen a few places whith 6or 8of them and they run and they give hay rides and tracters showed there but anyways lol great vid .as you can tell I got excited and got ideas from the vid bud lol but godbless and have a blessed day

Hello mr. Stoney ridge,Haha. Been a follower for some time and like your style and attitude. Can tell you love your farm and what your doing with it. Looks great. My wife and I are in making arrangements to make the move south (bluegrass Kentucky) and buy the farm ourselves. You mentioned before you had 200 acres, but now 150. Do you miss the other 50? Do you feel that it's better to buy the land already pasture vs forested? How much land do you consider to be enough " room to roam"? I want to eventually farm at level your at now and still have room to hunt and ride atv. I hunt and walking 100 acres isn't all that much, but different when stationary and cleared I suppose.

@zebby264

good for you, love your enthusiasm. I would have top say that your 150 acre farm would have to be probably the most over capitalised one there is!. I have a 400 acre property with about a quarter of the amount of equipment you have and want for nothing. I get the appeal of having old tractors, I have an old D4 and one 80hp FEL tractor slasher, mucher, UTV and a couple of other odd and sods that I don't really use. I think you would be better to focus on finishing your fencing and getting stock water to all your paddocks... preferably laying all your pipe underground..

The problem with having farm vehicles to get around the farm is you end up walking less and less. It’s easier to throw the tools in the back, drive to the site & do the job than to walk down carrying the tools. So you end up doing less exercise. However you can do more work in less time and not feel worn out at the end of the day using the vehicles. So it’s a real dilemma.
