UPDATE: I did what you suggested and disconnected from the internet, restarted the game and started doing Out of the Shadows - Shield Mission on Challenge ll and I took my Thor from Power 85 to now Power 119. I’m sticking to Out of the Shadow mission cause it short if you stick to just doing the main objectives and there’s a lot of resources plus 4 loot box’s on the way to the end objective. Oh and one of the loot box’s drops a minor artifact every time you open it with at least one upgrade module.If you don’t go down at all you’ll 100% the mission and get a Legendary piece.

I hope this teaches developers to stop doing this. Let the players progress how they want to progress. This isn't a pvp game. It isn't a mmo. This is a looter shooter action rpg where you can play co-op multi-player. There's no reason to nerf the loot.

Days of the remains challenge 3 i keep doing cause i get consistently better gear every time i got iron man to 150 today grinding challenge 3 grabbing the chests next to the phase 2 and helping the prisoner next to the fire adaptoids and killing the target in phase 1. Lots of good stuff.

I just wanted to mention that the offline trick works for faction assignments as well. You can turn off your internet go collect your assignments and then quit out and turn your internet back on and there will be a new set of assignments for you to pick up.

I was using this offline trick in Borderlands 3 when the loot first got nerfed. Then like a couple days later the offline got nerfed. Hopefully it takes Crystal Dynamics a while to nerf offline farm.

Haven’t been able to do this trick on Xbox. Worked on Borderlands 3 when it first came out and that was it.

Unfortunately this will not work for those on console with bad save states. Which means infinite loading screen. We are forced to play via the multiplayer option until the next update resolves it. Imagine that not being able to play offline with a game you purchased.

Another trick, if you play offline, change your local date and restart from checkpoint it resets the cosmetic store. If you put the correct date, the store will go back too, so you can go up and down and buy that skin you like

On reddit one of the devs said their was no legendary gear nerf it was just another glitch 🙄

yeah hives and vaults are good if for one you can progress in hives as long as the elite enemies that need beat dont despawn and if the vault missions dont crash anymore.

Tbh imo the Devs should have made the guaranteed rewards for first completions only then everytime you replay that mission you have to get 95% or higher to get legendaries gear.the lower your mission rating the less chance you have to get high lvl gear. Also make it changing the difficulty should effect this aswell

The good thing about "Out of the Shadows" mission is that I get 6 to 8 upgrade modules per run!

i DON'T KNOW ABOUT U BUT I'VE FOUND THE FIRST PART OF "ROCKET'S RED GLARE" KEEPS DROPPING LEGENDARY ITEMS ON CHALLENGE 4 WITH IRON MAN SO HE CAN GET TO ALL OF THE CHESTS. IN A FEW MINUTES I CAN EARN 3 MODULES TOO PLUS LOOT FROM KILLS. MY IRON MAN IS AT POWER 104 AND MY OTHERS ARE QUITE A BIT LOWER BUT THEY ARE CATCHING UP QUICK-TIIME COS I RECYCLE EVERYTHING I DON'T WANT .

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but how does doing this method affect your character progress and stuff? Like will the things i do offline stay with my characters when i get back online? (XP, gear, etc.)

I notice from continuous grinding and I think they need to do a patch because the amount of gear that I get is either way weaker than my current gear or it's only a 1% increase on anything so by the time I have about 20 different things they all just get scrapped

I prefer these to the vaults. The vaults piss me off something fierce especially when there's like 3 adaptoids and the electrical spinner bots :/

Honestly the 1 guaranteed legendary doesn't seem that important to me at endgame. It's easy enough to farm legendary drops in any hive or vault. And the PL cap is so low we'll just be picking between multiple options at endgame or buying them from vendors.

Oh and fyi those priority missions aren't giving rewards ever 24 hours. It's been well over 24 hours since last time I donne it and at 97% I still only got a purple item. Hopefully they do something fast because the lack of content and extreme grind has already turn off a few of my friends and I'm close to falling out too.

Turning off internet goes against what makes me enjoy this game: playing as the avengers with my friends. I want to love this game so much but it doesn't love me back.

They did respond, it was a bug, not a nerf. They are fixing it and even going to award bonus Upgrade Modules as an apology. They said Faction missions will now reward 130 max level, other missions will stay at 120 like they have been at launch.

Hey guys just to let you know the outfits are still broken. I just bought a cheap thor out fit (the white tshirt outfit) quit to main menu and went back in and it was locked again. I still am wearing it but since it is locked it does mean that if I choose another outfit, I lose the outfit again. So the bug is still out there.

Is there a way to know when these "Priority Missions" reset? I did them yesterday and now today after the daily reset but didn't get any of the rewards like Upgrade Modules or Unites like yesterday.

Quick question. If gear score is averaged, and gear goes from 130 to 140, how do you get to 150 gear score? That seems to go against the rules of basic math averaging.

Can you elaborate on exotics not dropping currently in the 14 stages elite hive? How do you know this? Because in other YT video's they grind the hell out of it and did get lucky but im not sure if thats before or after the last patch.

Absolutely brilliant man but unfortunately since I gameshare with a friend of mine in the UK and even though I bought this game, to play it offline I have to have my Xbox set as my home Xbox sooo.... fm right?? Lol

Everyone is so mad about this loot nerf thing but I don't think it's even a problem. Dude the day after release people had already fully maxed out all the characters. That's just ridiculous! All these videos about how to farm loot "oh you go into this mission and just run straight through it! Don't even stop to fight the enemies. Just sprint to the end and you can get 1 piece of high level loot every 2 minutes!" I mean sure you could do that... or you can just play the game like a normal person. You can't play the same mission at the same difficulty over and over and over and over again and expect to get the same level loot every time. That's just common sense. At the end of the day this is still crystal dynamics fault though because this whole loot situation shouldn't have been the way it was from the beginning. Which brings me to what I think the real problem is and that's the bugs. Not just the bugs but the state that this game was in when it was released and even now still. They released an incomplete game and even now a week later it's still not complete! The game feels like it's only 75% of a completed game. It's a fun game! Playing as captain american is an amazing feeling! So I've definitely enjoyed this game so far. But I'm kinda at the point where I feel like this game NEEDS to fail. For the good of all future... not only superhero games but all games I feel like this game needs to fail. I mean think about it. This is a "live service" game but at first when the first trailer came out everyone was expecting this to be a single player game like the arkham games or spiderman ps4. Just recently we got the first trailers for suicide squad kill the justice league and gotham knights. The suicide squad game is definitely going to be a live service game also and the gotham knights game looks like it might have elements of a live service game as well. Im worried that this is going to be the future for superhero games and I think the only way to prevent that future is if this game fails.

I just heard about a new Deadpool game being made from a buddy that works on games in Seattle. He also told me about this game years ago.

I dont think people are mad that the loot farming got nerfed but the fact CD nerfed one of the few things right with the game over fixing all of the bugs people keep telling them about. Fallout 76 and Anthem made the same mistake and look what happened to those titles...
