Not a ton of farming going on this time of year so we've been catching up on book work and enjoying some family time. Things will pick up in the next week or two when we start to prep for Harvest!! Be sure to head over to our second channel "Between The Rows" where we will have several videos coming out over the next few days!!

He’s on his way ! Great upbringing ! You told him to do something and he did it but of course, it’s partly because it was something he wanted to do ! *grin*. Hope you both had fun !

Real interesting vid Mr. Millennial. Those lights will help your electric bill and provide much better lighting. What, no Sugar Maples ? We had 5 at the 100 year old Michigan farm house I grew up in. Myself and my 6 siblings always had a blast every other year taping the sap and botling it down into syrup, taffy and Maple sugar that would last us two plus years. We kept it in our basement to keep it cool. Mom had Dad put up chicken wire doors to keep us kids from sneaking some including all the fruit preserves we canned every year with strawberries, raspberries from U pick farms and other fruit preserves we made. We had 8 cherry trees so those were free. I guess We were wierd because We actually enjoyed doing it. Lits of great childhood memories.

@@billvandorn5332 The owner of a corner lot at the end of my street was clearing the lot to make a parking lot for trucks. I called my local historic tree preservation service. It was a pecan tree that was over 100 years old that as a kid we stood under that tree every morning to catch the school bus. They came and looked at it and told the land owner that it was a historic tree and forced him to leave it alone. It was on the very corner and didn't take up any room and would not be in his way and made him leave it. The land owner was supper mad but the tree still stands.
