For dad saving the bending became the priority after the hip replacement. But financially we can only upgrade a few beds at a time from here out. I have the advantage of the tractor and the farm to be able to fill them easily. That helps. You have a few weeks yet to plan a strategy but yep its not cheap. I have seen raised beds made out or all kinds of things. Maybe look to see whats handy off Marketplace to cut costs. Roofing tin works good too.
