The Hydraulics on the Farmall 460 were bogging down the engine and heating up. We found what the problem was. Thanks for watching.

Have you looked into the tele depth valve. The teeth on the gears inside were chipped and I had to rotate them to a good spot. How about the filter?

Clean or change filter and clean bypass screen that is on filter first.

hello, my dad just bought one of these, 1961 model, we were wondering about the handle to left of the seat with the oval grip. we don't know what it does, or if it is hooked up right, thoughts?

That's the seat adjuster for the weight of the operator turn it to adjust the suspension of the seat.

@@TheGoldenHillFarm oh, sorry, i meant the large one down lower, it looks to hook up to the hitch, but doesn't appear to do anything

@@barrelmaker9974 That's the traction control lever. The different notches adjusts how much weight transfer there is to the rear wheels from the hitch when plowing.
