Whenever I see these rice paddies I think of the Vietnam movies where they're flying above them in a Huey chopper

The Upper Mississippi has bluffs on each side of it so it does look natural to me having grown up on the Minnesota/Wisconsin border.

Would like the screens inside the harvesters/equipment to display some type of useful info or just not be there. Not a fan of nonfunctional screens obstructing view in first person

With the various boats it seems as if we will be able to purchase different styles and drive them around. Would be cool to have a river barge at the elevator like we have here in the states. The tower looks like a fire lookout tower, but I am not sure how they would integrate that into the game.

I think the game looks beautiful and hopefully it'll get better when we hear more at Farmcon but I'm looking forward to the mods that will come out once it's released.. just think how good an oxygenDavid map will look with all these improvements and not to mention swathing is now a base game thing (from what it shows on the Macdon pack) I honestly think this will be the best installment yet!!

I remember one of the things they mentioned as a new feature in FS22 was that they didn't render what wasn't seen. With the fog they could feasibly expand the map size, as they don't need to render stuff technically visible stuff at distance.

I'l still reserve judgement till i see more gameplay, but at a high altitude these changes seem only superficial and gimmicky - in line with Giants attitude towards graphical fidelity and immersion. I also see that the infamous "circular shadow / rendering" is still there (see the circle / halo of rendering around the combine harvester on rice field).

Oh man. Did anybody else notice while the new Holland was harvesting rice the typical farm Sim graphics stutter? Maybe I’m just being silly, but I swear I saw it.

Honestly the game is way too expensive to not have more major updates. I believe you mentioned too that they did not use a newer engine which is silly. I bought the platinum edition and all the dlc and season passes for 22 hoping for big changes but honestly other than ai workers being able to loop to drop offs which is super buggy I don’t really feel impressed with where the game is at. I’ll wait till this is on game pass for free and check it out then. It seems like the same game repackaged. Chances are a modder can make the new maps for 22.

Graphics are nice but if they’re not fixing the gameplay issues not worth my money and won’t be buying.

Don't be fooled, all the games of the simulators, especially the farms' simulators are very bad in terms of cartoons, movement and rigid nature👎🏻
