I was the Bard. Was my first time attempting Cyclops. My Voip was off though so I didn't hear your tips. Stayed to watch though! Loved that four people spontaneously decided to team him. Made my night.

trap disarm kit is for like floor spikes and stuff btw, not ranger traps

8:37 moments like these make me wish there was some kind of no pvp mechanic when doing solo bosses. Seeing everyone helping out to take it down is wholesome

the smash the ground over and over and make rocks fall gets me every time. literally even while staying close and behind i just get hit over and over again.

@@NnEeNnEemLk So what I've found is that jumping and strafing to the side his back is facing, tends to SOMETIMES cause the rocks to miss you. However, It still feels like RNG and the best solution is to pop a healing pot, jump strafe and just try to do as much dps as you can. For warlocks, 2 hellfires makes him stop smashing.

It probably took me about 40 tries to kill it as a rogue lol; but i learned that when he does the double low swing and then the high one, when you duck under you can look at him and hit him the whole time, you don't need to look down.

While hes doing the 3rd swing on his charge attack you can look up and still hit him while ducking

You actually dont need to crouch the third swipe on his charge. Thats only to catch people who jump 3 times like that poor fighter. You can just stand and he wont hit you

I really wish we had a PVE only sort of experience like this. This boss makes me believe it'd be possible to do and do in a way that would still be entertaining to play.

i was also hoping it would be for instant disarming ranger traps dont see any reason to use these kits

@@MGE-Gibs What else would you want them to do? Disarm ranger traps faster? Seems kind of pointless and defeats the purpose of resourcefulness don't you think? It's come in handy a few times when I'm playing with newbies from the discord I like to disarm difficult to jump traps for them. It's been a good quality of life item

except this one room/hallway on crypts where there is a single floor spike trap and you cant get around it but you can get over it with a torch anyway

@chickenbob562 there's a few places like that, people also feel slightly safer behind a pile of traps they think you have to walk around.

I can't seem to be able to beat him. I die to the slam that causes the rocks to fall every time. There doesn't seem to be a way to dodge the rocks and me and any other people with me in the arena get killed by the them.

Hyped for when we get Fluent Learning Ai bosses as gaming norm. imagine if the Cyclops could Delay the stomp, animation cancel into charge to catch ppl off guard.
