We are down at the creek doing a catch clean cook crawfish boil when hayden got so scared she ran for her life hahaha. The private creek property never fails to bring on excitement.

I can't tell you anything of how you are going to be a steward of your Creek. However, a crawdad with many eggs under her is a thing you want to release carefully to make more. I hope you know how it is. My daddy was from cleburne county l Arkansas and I know don't delete your crawdads. But that's just me. You do what you want that beautiful Creek is such Life-Giving water

Makes sense Dutch. I watch crab fishermen on Discovery channel and if the count is low for a season Alaska makes them take a few years off so the stocks replenish. Also smalls and females cannot be harvested. Also be careful with dead ones bcuz they can make the others make you sick.

The water is so clear that the reflection of the rocks on the bottom looks like leaves on the surface. It had me fooled in the past videos till this one 🙏🇺🇸

We used to catch Crawdads in Lake Tahoe growing up, off the rocks along the shoreline. We used bacon pieces on a string. It would keep us busy for hours!

Some of the most beautiful crawdads, mudbugs, that I ever caught was right there in South Central Oklahoma, just north of Lawton back in the early 80s. I think it was because the water was so clean and cold. At least as long as my hand is wide. Bright fluorescent oranges and greens and reds and blues! 😳 Sure do wish I could get my health back under control and get out of this desert of death and get back into the land of life.

Amazing how many crawdads are in that small hole. Congrats Hope on your catch of over 100!! I have to tell you a quick story of my crawdad experience when I was your age Hope. My older brother caught one in a small stream we were camped by and we were horsing around in the stream getting wet on a hot day and having fun and he threw the thing down the front of my one piece bathing suit. I've never moved so fast into our small camper to take my suit off so the creature wouldn't bite me... I was so mad at my brother the rest of the night. It didn't bite me thank goodness! I laugh about it now.

Dutch I live Sparta NC and we call them crawdads to I have a 14 year old granddaughter Sara and she likes hunting for them in the creek and releasing them I told her that she would fit right in with your girls.

The tent would last longer and would be way more comfortable if it was on a wood platform and no snakes or mice would get under it.

Brings back memories of my camping days. I never camped off our property but it was still fun. Set my tent up in the field and slept in it with my cat. Then i got a different tent and set it up just inside the woods left it up all summer that year slept in it several times. Cant wait for the sawmill videos to begin i really enjoy those videos. ❤

You can set your clocks they are so accurate in the hours they leave in the evening. Congress Street Bridge in Austin,Tx is famous for crowds that gather to view them in season.

Looks like spring creek at Camp Garland when I was a Boy Scout back in the 60s. Loved that gravel bottomed creek! Practiced fly fishing for perch back then!

Cray or crawfish depending on where u r from, similar family to shrimp & even lobster. In LA we had a seine & caught about 300#, used a deeper pot with boiling basket. The potato & corn under basket became so yummy

Bats will reside in hollow trees also. We built a bat house years ago and watched them fly in and out all summer and fly around the field catching mosquitoes
