Check rear suspension.. I heard a bit negative feedback from few of my friends who test driven it before purchase.. otherwise good car overall

I dont think it will lack stability or power at higher speeds, even a wagon r can be driver at much higher speed with okay stability....I am sure Exter is much much better than most other in this segment, i do believe the build quality has improved drastically to give enough punch to other vehicles in the same level......

Guy's Exter has 85k bookings in 1 month it's a game changer. few things we should consider before opting Hyundai exter. Today i booked exter over fronx delta plus (10.7 lac). Punch Acc dazzle ( 10 lacs). Reason i cancelled fronx. Because of features missing in both. Not 1 or 2. Many basics option missing. Please find the additional features we are getting in exter Optional variant booked today (10.57 lcs) Bangalore. Find the features below. 1. 6 airbags 2. Sun roof(avl in punch) 3. Rear AC 4. Rear wiper 5. Rear defogger 6. Auto headlamps 7. Push button{ avl in punch) 8. Wireless charger 9. Cool glove box 10. Voice command 11. Alloy wheels ( avail in pinch and fronx) 12. Seat adjustment (punch) 13. Cruise control ( punch) 14. Orvm ( punch) 15. Tyre pressure monitor 16. Hill assist 17. Reverse camera ( punch only) 18. Day and night mirror ( punch only 19. Child lock door and window) 20. Rear room lamp. Guy's i booked exter because of the above features which is missing in punch and fronx. Now I am happy in terms of features and safety. It will be a game changer folks. Tata and maruti will face tough time.any opinion guy's

What I heard from the people I know is! The rear suspension is not that great, 3 average built guys will make the suspension go down like hell. So there's some problems regarding that

It does but it’s a tradeoff between features which exter offers or the mileage & sporty styling which fronx offers. Also the fronx 1.2 is little more capable

It works in drive mode too. Once u start using the paddle shift when you are in drive mode it changes to manual mode internally. If you want to comeback to drive mode, you should first change to manual mode and change back to drive mode

By the time the Tata Punch will have the punch, Hyundai would have launched the facelift of the Exter. They are slow af.

@@shravan97 just because a company is slow, doesn't mean that their cars aren't good or that their sales figure is bad. What I meant by slow is that Tata takes a lot of time to bring a thought process into real life. That's what I meant by slow. If they weren't slow, they would have had a Creta and Verna competitor and Harrier/Safari petrol years ago.

@@shravan97 like how Tata boasts that they have tested their cars for lakhs of kms but initial batches of their cars are usually problematic and these problems are rectified over the years. This also persists with Mahindra, initials owners of their cars are beta testers or lab rats. This can't be said about Hyundai because their cars are sorted from the get go. That's what I meant by slow. If you hear about Hyundai planning to launch a new vehicle in a segment, you would typically see it in a couple of years on the road. Tata can only think. That's what is slow.
