It’s funny. I’ve really gotten into budget barbies. Like I used to turn my nose up because of the lack of articulation. But man have I fallen in love with their faces. I love the petite with the very 70’s looking fashion, dark skin with the short flared pants and the triangle top. I’ve just picked up a bunch of vintage - newer barbies off a lady and some of the older dreamtopia dolls were in there I’m definitely picking up both of the odile mermaids. They have such serene gorgeous faces.

The new Dreamtopia Mermaids with the Odile head sculp is definitely a must have for me. And I wish we've seen that head sculp on a Fashionista.

The Steffi Love dolls with the mesh/bandeau tops and clear skirts and the Daya and Christie-sculpt Barbies are my favourites from the dolls here. I really love the outfits of the former and the screenings on the latter! Great video! Excited to see what a closed-mouth collector Brooklyn could look like, too! ☺

I agree 100 re budget dolls. You get one and a fashion pack and you are off to the races. I like them obviously because I can afford them but also because they are readily available. I'm tired of the competition for over priced collector dolls. I like some collector dolls but with a budget doll, you can just have fun.

I adore my 2 articulated Steffi Love dolls which I decided to purchase after seeing one of your Steffi Love unboxings. Hoping Simba will make articulated versions of Steffi's friends for some more diversity in the future. Cool Kevin in next on my list.

I never heard of steffi dolls before but I really like the all purple one, she looks fabulous!

Mattel wants to sell barbies no matter what the price, sell sets that are not so cheap, create collectible exclusive dolls at high prices and some of them look terrible, even the price is not worth it. Steffi is in great demand due to the fact that she is cheaper, the quality is not worse than Barbie, she knows how to dress stylishly and please the public. That is why Steffi can be a good competitor for Barbie, which has been sold around the world for 36 years. As a child, I loved Barbie madly, I dreamed of every piece from the same films of the 2000s. But when I became an adult, Steffi became more interesting - there is very little information on the Internet about her creation, her releases, very little can be understood, but I spent hours looking for information, so I am glad that Simba does not lose heart and makes new Steffi dolls, despite the hate from Barbie fans. Unfortunately, Barbie doesn't surprise me anymore, it seems to me that her best days have already passed and Mattel doesn't think about whether to make new series cheaper or to make incredibly good exclusives for a decent price.

The new Barbie mermaids are gorgeous, the tanned one with hot pink hair and orange tail is already my third favorite mermaid Barbie, but i will buy all the 4 dolls of this new line, as mermaid lover i'm SO HAPPY that Angel Kent finally give us simple mermaid tails, no more stupid frills and ornaments, only colorful fish scales and fun fins The new Steffi dolls are so pretty, as i already said you on instagram, i will buy that Super Glam Steffi, she is stunning

Such a fun video to watch. With the horrible situation of wars it is so wonderful to look forward these releases. For me the two Odile mermaids are must haves. I also like the Shani doll.

This budget doll is perfect. I would love to collect all the dresses, the butterfly one and the logo ones. I open my eyes big when I thrift shop. It's cool to see Steffi Love there too, I don't like that her face never changes (but she is cheap so what to expect) and there is no diversity but she has cute fashion and her little sister sometimes get cute themes too.

The steffie love dolls remind me of 90, early 20s Barbies, very cute.

I do agree with your opinion on budget dolls but sadly the price changes depending where you live. I do like the fashionista line but hate the other budget line dolls like the fairytopia line because they’re getting more cheaper than ever. As for Steffi Love, i think she’s a great doll especially for people who have a small budget. You get a great doll for half the price of a Barbie doll. But, I don’t like the fact that Simba toys uses the same face mold for all their dolls.

I like the Steffis (Shocker, I know...) and can't wait to do a repaint on the Violet one! The Barbies none are a need for me, but I might pick up the mermaids you liked if I see them reduced for under a fiver or second hand... The scrunchie would make a cool stole for the dress!!!!

It's definitely interesting to see some different Steffis, I feel like there isn't a lot of variety in her releases - or at least not that I've noticed. Is her face different in the mesh top dolls? I recently saw some of Steffi's Friends for sale and it was nice to see more diversity in the line but a shame they all have the exact same face mould.

Steffi Love seems like a brand I would like to purchase, but not sure if I can get them in the US. Must investigate. I have several mermaid dolls and was not planning to buy another, but the Angel face molds are perfection!

It´s too bad that Simba doesn´t do Steffi-fashion packs.
