Hello everyone, I hope you’ve all had a great week. I have been having one much needed pamper week which in all honesty has been bliss! Definately the comfy baby-blue chair. It looks so welcoming and will look fab with the wooden flooring. The other looks like an outside chair. Wish you were still designing - that pink jumper is gorgeous.

Aww thanks for the advice Liz:) I was thinking of getting it in the hugely not so practical white actually! Haha, I must be mad I know! Go for super comfy. I can’t stress how important comfort is the older one gets. However, your home looks super stylish (that kitchen is so sleek and futuristic-WOW!) that maybe you’d be disappointed in comfy. I have a lovely floral chaise longue in my private room. And it is a life saver on those stressful days. Will def look into this new Dior line. I can’t afford the clothes (my favorite! Love their floaty look and feel) but I do buy things like their sunglasses and cosmetics. Thanks for a great new video. Get well soon! Hugs from Florida! 😎

You'll love it hun! I've never found a product that gives me so much glow, without my skin feeling like I could fry chips on it! haha! And my pigmentation is much better, not gone completely yet but I'm hoping it will eventually. I'll keep you informed on that one:) Happy Sunday hun x

Love that you have done a full 7 day review of the skincare, much more detailed than just once application. I think your skin looks great anyway but it does seem that the products have improved the glow of your skin. Looking beautiful Jess 😘. Skin looks teally fabulous! So for a cozy chair or you will never sit there. It will look good but you won't ever use it. Add a velvet pillow and a great throw. Loved this episode!🌏🌎🌍❤

Haha, but the other one looks so stylish!! Okay, next question then and you'll think I'm mad but....is it ridiculous to order it in white? Remembering I have 3 boys and 2 cats?! In my defence I keep the door to this room firmly shut and I just love white chairs! Essentially I'm trying to make my space look and feel like I live in a White Company shop haha!! x

Hi Jess , can I just say your skin looks so good, great idea to show daily progress, you have a definite glow now 👌. I use Decleor, have for years but I must say that was tempting . I’m so sorry you’ve been through it a bit , having procedures really takes it toll not to mention the stress of life in general at the moment.Hope you’re feeling better, you look great. The chairs for your office are both stylish but I would go for the plush comfy one even if it’s a little big. I can normally only get away with that when I'm straight off my holidays and have a little tan! I'm feeling so much better and the docs are being great getting me sorted, onwards and upwards hey! My skin does say the way I'm feeling I think! I've been so impressed with the results so far so I'm definitely going to keep it up. My spots will come and go but I'd like that dark spot near my eye to completely disappear:) Happy Sunday Sue x

I just discovered your channel, your review is really nice 👌 My mum uses Capture line since its launch in the late 90's, and still don't want to change ! These products are amazing and I particularly like their fragrance. It reminds me my mum each time I use Dreamskin, it's one of their best in this line i love it ! A nice thing Dior offer is you can order samples first, give them a try see what you think and then decide if you want to purchase. And you need to stay out of the sun and use 50SPF daily! reapply every 2 hours if going out. Your primary skin issue is sun damage, and hyperpigmentation

I got samples of those products from Dior and when I used them the first time I had to do double take - it made a difference so quickly! It is very expensive but after watching your video I think I will buy them. You always look amazing- but I think your skin looks more hydrated! Thank you!

Hi Jules, so lovely to hear you’ve tried them too. It’s hard to get across how instant it is but they’re amazing aren’t they! I love my skin to look glowing and I’ve never found a product that works quite as good as these. If you’re worried buying all 3 at once I’d say go for the lotion and serum first and save on the moisturiser for now. X

Hi Jess very open and honest of you to show that your skin isn’t as perfect as you would like. The Dior products certainly made your skin glow and it is so dewy. Would love to see a brief update again in a few weeks time. And as for the chair, go for comfort and dress it with some lovely cushions and a throw so you can snuggle with your laptop or read your Vogues - have a great week 🥰

Hello Jess! I have the same skin type dry/sensitive. Ingredients to avoid: alcohol, fragrance and essential oils. For melasma and dark spots check Sussan Yara, Dr. Dray and Graceful Beauty on KZfaq. Always check first six ingredients on the list, because these going to be taking a major place in your product. If you see advertisement on any skin care product with anti-aging ability and a retinol is on the bottom of the list, it's not going to work-it's just a marketing. Another thing is the Phenoxyethanol ( preservative in majority skin care to keep your product fresh) test, this ingredient is never over 1% in any product, so everything under this ingredient will be less than 1%, which means it will not do anything for your skin as marketing on the box promised. Check Skin care with Hyram How to read an ingredient list. Creams (inexpensive) I use for my sensitive skin which you can find in any drugstore and even use for children : La Roche-Posay Baume triple-reparation, Avene Skin recovery cream and Derma E Sensitive skin moisturising cream. You are welcome! 😉 I am a skin care junkie and I am proud to admit that. 😊

Ooh lots of advice there thanks so much Daiva:) I shall have a google of all those today. I'm not sure if this is correct but aren't there laws on how much companies are allowed to put into one potion of something super potent like retinol? Like a max amount they're allowed to use? I didn't get on with retinol hugely well but I know everyone loves it so I'm thinking I need to keep trying x

@@FashionStyleEdit You are welcome Jess. It is, but I also just started to use a retinol derivative for the first time this year, which isn't too strong for a beginner like me. I bought it on Amazon from France, it's apparently in every drugstore there , it's called Pommade A313. I never got any irritations from it, because I was afraid of that with my sensitive skin and I started using it once a week just few month ago and now I can do it every second day. My skin already have developed tolerance to this product. You can find that in UK (I am pretty sure), but I can't find it in Sweden. Good luck, Jess! 👸

Hi, Jess. Your skin was glowing at the end of the Dior trial. Regarding the chair, go for the framed rattan imo. The comfy one takes up way too much space. The wing chair in the bedroom is divine.

The Loaf one is huge I must admit, I had a sit in it in store though and it was insanely comfy which was what swayed me:/ Anthroologie though, where the other one is from have some gorgeous chairs. Hi Jess, thanks as always for the video you are doing a great job. Dior skincare when Ive had samples does seem nice but it is very expensive. At my age, (almost 60!! - how did that happen?!) the advice is always to spend more on skincare, but to be honest whever I've splashed out on something more expensive I've never felt that the extra expense was justified. I think if you stick to a routine as you did this week you'll probably get as good results with Boots or Superdrug skincare as you will with Dior. Superdrug has some great skincare like their Naturally Radiant range which is cruelty free and is really good value. Hope your health is on the mend and have a great Sunday.x Ps go for comfy !

Thank you so much Luisa, that's so kind of you to say:) 60 is the new 50 hun and if you're anything like me I'm just permanently 25!! In my head at least:) Regards creams, I honestly don't think it is down to how much you spend. ie I wouldn't assume something will be better because it's more expensive, it doesn't always equate sadly. A bit like designer fashion brands using polyester, some will always try their luck! But sometimes the best item just so happens to be a designer option as such. And I truly believe in these Dior products for what they've done to my skin. I know they're a little more pricey but having used them for a week I could honestly say they're worth the money. Someone else mentioned that on their website you can try samples out before you buy which I thought was a nice transparent option from Dior. That way you could see if you like the results before you make the spend:) Happy Sunday lovely and I'll take a look at the Naturally Radiant range you mentioned too, I need something for a few eczema patches that have sprung up on my arms weirdly! x

I don't feel anything like 60 and after I'd had my hair cut the other day my husband said it was "very age appropriate" - I asked him what he meant as I didn't like the sound of that comment and he said "age appropriate for a 45 year old" ( I think he meant it!) In any case I feel better now than I did when I was 50 (which frankly left me feeling quite miserable). Your skin looks great using the Dior products so I'd stick with them. The Superdrug ranges are very good value, although I wouldn't recommend any I've used for eczema. I had some really bad dry skin and hair in my early fifties (not a very happy time for me!) and found that French skincare was really good - Avene xeracalm is excellent www.boots.com/avene-xeracalm-cream-200ml-10171623 Looking forward to Wednesday's video x

Chair wise, definately a comfy one, maybe a smaller one though? Your skin looked great. The creams/serums have some great ingredients but also contain high levels of alcohol and they also contain parfum( undiclosed fragrance), both can irritate or dry out the skin over time; sonetimes this can take 4-6 weeks to affect your skin. But i like that they say they send a sample with the wrapped product so you can try it first and return the bottle if you dont get on with the sample. I hope it suits you long term though, spendy, but worth it if they work. X

Hi hun, hope you're well lovely:) I have the driest skin ever normally after years of suffering with eczema and I can honestly say my skin has never felt so nourished and plump. I'm not quite at 4 weeks yet so I'll keep up with the routine and let you know if anything changes but so far so good. I noticed that on their website too which is so handy. I've tried products before in the shop and thought it was great, bought it and then got a reaction a few days later so to have the option to try it out first is really helpful. I'll keep searching on the chair, any ideas on where to look next? I feel like I've exhausted every homeware site there is!! Happy Sunday Zena x

I love Dior foundation though, though i'm currently on Bare Minerals tinted moisturiser and bare minerals original loose foundation powder. Look after yourself. Xx

I use a serum made by Dermalogica. It is quite potent, but my skin has adjusted to it over time and if I runout, I can see within days the difference on my skin. It just goes dull and uneven in tone. Like a lot of the Retinol creams, using it diluted with a moisturizer and slowly building a tolerance works best. However, your skin may just be too sensitive. Take Care! M
