I love the 501 jeans, red socks, and black blazer. You look amazing in them. I like these straight-leg jeans on you the best. It's not too tight but not too baggy-perfection.

My 3 words are, “Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy”. lol. Still to this day, her style in the 90s still holds strong….even just taking her dog for a walk, she was always effortlessly stylish. Classy, minimal, relaxed, elegant, simple.

I love that your three personal style words changed. Thank you for asking about what to do “if you feel like you are not confident with your mid-section”. You could probably do an entire video about this! I would also like suggestions about alternatives to wearing a belt. I know belts can polish your look and add interest, but any time I buy one it ends up in my “never” pile.

Pop the red vest over the denim and wear the red cardigan with the buttons in the back to mix it up. I'm a retired librarian and avoid cardigans like the plague because of the stereotype but you wear it well! Loved Allison's styling that helped turn your "never" into YES!

Those were some really great outfits! It was fantastic seeing the green blazer come to life and the red sweater with the brown blazer. The green never jacket looks great with the flowing jeans and the adidas. A hoodie underneath, makes it very cool and edgy! Great session! ❤

This was so fun and amazing! Christina, I didn't think your style could improve any further, but I'm impressed with Allison. I recently figured out my Color season/best colors. After losing weight, I've had to buy a new summer wardrobe. One thing I've learned is that I need contrast in my outfits. I noticed that contrast helped you in this session. Pairing black with a color or white with a color can create that, or black & white together. And having a slimmer bottom with an oversized top and vice versa. I'm thinking that when an outfit doesn't feel right, that might be what's missing for you.

Agree that juxtaposition is the magic key🗝 to making our looks have both polish & personality. 😘Like you, I can lean toward being a one note wonder in my "Regulars." For me, too much reliance on "Tomboy" territory (i.e., ☂️boyfriend style, slouchy, sporty, tech/utility, combat)〰️while being comfy, cosy, & casual it can easily go grunge😬. That alone can look & feel flat for me as well😔. Hence, I clearly need something to spice🧂it up. ⚖️For me, that would be balanced by "Femme" (i.e., elegant simplicity, preppy, feminine w/o fuss, womanly w/a dash of glam). Both categories above have a ♂️boyish & girlish♀️ playful element. The former strikes me as rebellious, while the latter strikes me as more proper. Each category has their distinct timeless & classic pieces that I like to mix & match together. Think Ali McGraw from 🎞Love Story. She blended both her worlds〰️her blue collar background w/Ivy League establishment in a fun, feminine, & fabulous way. 🤔Also been reflecting on the nuances of contrast too. That has more to do with the actual mechanics of style. Our playing w/the proportions, all the specific style tweaks we use, & how color can be utilized to enhance or convey a mood. You proved here that even a small style twist can instantly amp up the voltage⚡️of a garment or outfit. Liked the peek-a-boo effect of the oversized denim shirt under the blazer best of all. Although using it as a shacket over the all black base worked too. The use of color is a major contributing factor to our style. Tonal or matching monochromatic looks are my mainstay. ❤️‍🔥Passionate about that continuous column of vertical color↕️. When it comes to brights, I shy away from a top to toe look. RE Color Contrast, there are those that gravitate toward High Intensity while others swing more Low Intensity. Like our 3 words, I believe this can also ebb & flow as well as evolve as we go through life. 🤓There was a time when I embraced 🌈full scale drama in this direction. Still adore some lights & brights, but at this time I prefer to dial down🔃 that intensity by mixing w/neutrals. Bought two ✨️dazzling✨️ above the knee pencil skirts that perfectly fit my⏳️shape back in the 90s, but NEVER could figure out how to style the two separates until recently😂. Now, I wear a ¹slouchy sleeveless light gray sweater or ²light gray graphic tee & matching slip-on sneakers w/the fuschia💖 skirt. If chilled, I'll add my medium gray zippered hoodie. If feeling sassy, I'll wear a slightly more ³fitted men's white & fuschia buffalo check button up w/cuffed sleeves as a topper over a white razorback tank & white leather platform sneakers. For the purple💜 skirt, I will wear a white tee w/a ¹petite purple infinity bandana or a ²lavender sweater vest & my white sneakers. To switch it up, I'll wear a gray tee & a purple sweater as a scarf w/gray sneakers. 😊Soft contrast was superbly executed here. The punchy green jacket was exceptional w/the other light tonal pieces. While the bold red cardi was beautifully served w/the brown blazer. ❤ By the way, your red cardigan has preppy twinset flair. You should check out the style hack videos for ways to cleverly rebutton this piece to crop it & also give it some attitude. 💚Bridget from Cali☘️ (using my pal's YT acct)

I love loafers, I wear them with straight-leg jeans (Levi's wedgies) slightly cropped. Love them!! When I wear them with trousers or wide-leg long jeans (baggy dad jeans), I feel bottom heavy.

all the nevers looked great!!! I am trying to teach myself to wear my nevers...usually on Sundays, when I go into the office (no-one is there to see me!!) and hey, I am starting to like what is evolving! Today I wore a Canadian tuxedo (with jeans from 25 years ago!!) I rocked it!!
