FAST 3 Obsidian Chest Locations Speed Run Guide (Unique Farm) in Minecraft Dungeons

In this Minecraft Dungeons video, I will show you my speed run guide for 3 different Obsidian chest locations. Many people already know the one on Soggy Cave, but there are also hidden chests with unique loot at the Desert Temple and Highblock Halls. Time to farm those max level items!

for the last one you can roll onto the platform then immediatly roll off so you respawn at the top and you can kill the crossbow guys

I just use totem of sheilding take chest and return to camp but if im finishing the level i use totem of sheilding shoot them until the stairs come

TIP FOR DESERT TEMPLE'S BLACK CHEST, IF THERE ARE 4 OR MORE SECRETS WHEN U OPEN MAP THERE IS 100% BLACK CHEST, 3 OR LESS SECRETS NO BLACK CHEST SO JUST LEAVE. HOPE THIS HELPS

Tip for highblock castle: Once you reach the obsidian chest, click the pressure plate and activate a shielding totem

6:12 I always just roll down to the abyss. It's spawns back you to the entrance of that room which makes very easy to deal with the mobs.

Look at the secrets and chests open in the map as soon as you get into the desert temple if it says 0/2 secrets then its not the right camera angle anything that's 0/3 secrets and at minimum like 4 chests has at least a chance to have the right camera angle

Yeah holding the map button will bring up this menu that shows secret chests, if it says 4 or above, then it most likely will have an obsidian chest.

One thing you can do for certain rooms in Soggy Caves is to get to a higher platform and then jump over the gate, and you can completely avoid having to fight all of the mobs.

Both of the right room layouts can be skipped, but only the stone layout of the left room can be skipped Quite unfortunate that not every layout can be skipped, as dealing with Witches *sucks,* but at the same time the layout that can't be skipped is also pretty roomy, so it's not the worst thing in the world

The desert one it’s always spawns for me if the map have 4 secrets or more if’s 3 or less it won’t spawn the secret room

On the highblock halls you can just yeet yourself off the platform. For me it just does little of damage and it will spawn you back up. Just in case you guys are not using the ghost robe. Love the video.

Soggy cave is randomly generated. The first redstone gate isn’t always only 2 pressure plates. Also I have gotten a map with both red stone gates being 4 plates and sometimes both gates are only 2 pressure plates.

my first reaction was that obsidian chest on soggy swamp, because when i first played the level i died at the boss and on second try the level generated with an obsidian chest

Totem of Shielding works very well for the obsidian chest at Highblock.

1:31 I found that if you roll onto the blocks beside the gates that’s supposed to stop you you can get on top and avoid fighting the mobs entirely. Just use the high ground to position your roll and you’ve saved yourself about 30 sec of fighting

There's no way to do that as the puzzle exits are paired with walls surrounding the exits and no change in elevation. However, the generated room where I mentioned that roll spot in the video is always the two button one so it's quicker than attempting a way around it

The second 2 are quite nice options, although soggy caves is still the best as you can skip 3 of the 4 lockdown sections very easily making a dungeon run less than 2 minutes. The only downside is it does require a bit more attention as you have to make the jumps compared to the temple, which is pretty much the easiest (although unreliable with the uncommon sideways dungeon spawn) and the halls with its forced key sections and just being a bit further. Also with cave, you can complete the mission alot quicker, unlike halls and temple where you're better off just quitting out, unless you go for the boss loot in temple. So you end up gaining more emeralds with soggy due to the extra artifact gained at the end of the mission too.

if you are just going for the chests the one in the temple is the fastest. can get it in under one minute if you got speed artifacts and avoid getting hit by mobs in the key section. only downside is that you can get unlucky with the camera angle and as you said, you dont get the mission loot.

@@aticz2548 yeah tested them yesterday, temple is definitely fastest if you're just looking for obsidian nchest farming. And a quick way to see if you get the correct spawn is to open your map and check the number of secrets in the level. If it says 3, you won't get the chest. If it says 4 or more you will. So you can quickly check and restart if needed. I always get the gold chest that spawns next to the obsidian chest, and it's worth checking to see a loot pig and a mini boss spawns just up from the bonus room before going into there to get the chest(s).

you can also speedrun moo to get some decent loot too. The boss almost always drops a unique. Just slap down a totem of warding and spam your bow if its good enough, and you can easily kill it. The cows also give a huge amount of xp

There is a way to skip the gate ambush thing and get straight to the redstone puzzle on both rooms but you have to get lucky with the landscaping of the rooms (soggy cave)

At 1:32 if you angle your role you can land on the blocks next to the gate and walk over without needing to kill the mobs :)

One thing I try to farm for is the Deflect Enchantment on armor because it can not only deflect arrows but also boss projectiles too.

You can actually skip the first room of the soggy caves with rool from the diagonal stone block onto the gate to go over it.

Hey 04AM, I’m playing MC dungeons and I am on adventure mode. I’ve been farming cacti canyon trying to find gauntlets with radiance but I can’t so I was wondering if it was even possible to get radiance on those in adventure mode, got any info?

Finish the final boss for adventure and get to apocalypse, then get soggy cave if you don’t already have it and farm that, I’ve been told it’s the best way to farm gauntlets.

You can cheat for Soggy Cave and go to the chest room skipping the 2 side room. But you do need a gaming controller. The Desert Temple there is 1 red chest by the door. You mine as while get the black chest and then go get the red chest.

On soggy cave you can skip past 3/4 forced fights and if you're on pc you can glitch straight to the chest with a mouse and a controller.

You dont have to fight the mobs in soggy. U can roll over some of the ledges to the other side. Makes it easier if you wanna run it instead of fighting

For the first room of soggy cave he went into, is skippable. It is somewhat difficult to do, but stand on the stairs to the right side of the gate, and roll on top of the gate.

for desert temple, checking the secrets will make you deduct whether or not you can loot the obsidian chest, if its 2 secrets then it will be a low chance that you cant loot it, 3 meaning low chances that you cant and 4 extremely low chances that you cant loot it, i suggest checking each time.

I've found that if the supply chest is on the right side of desert temple that the obsidian chest room will always be the right camera angle

Just a little tip for people using the Desert Temple Strategie: Check the map as soon as you enter that level, if it says 0/3 secrets then obsidian chest WILL be there, if the map only says 0/2 secrets then it will not be there so just exit the level and then enter it again until it says 0/3 secrets😁

Question, are these Obsidian, or Diamond chests? I personally thought the chests for beating the level were obsidian and that they tiered from normal, gold, diamond, then obsidian for beating the level.

Um i have a Q its not related to this at all besides it MC dungeons how do u take weapons out of the blacksmith u see im on default difficulty and it says i need to finish three missions in adventure difficulty, but of course i can't use it till later on in the game

You can skip the fights in soggy cave most of the time jumping at the side of the closed gates this is possible in 3 of the 4 rooms that could spawn

Orr u can make a clone of your account right before you claim the 2 obsidian chests u get for finding all the runes. Then open up the clone on your 1st controller and your main on your second and bring them both to that room, open the chests, get the items, and repet

if you didn't know: in soggy caves you can simple skip every encounter without fighting except one. so it is possilbe to run past everything and get the chest without killing one mob

You've forgotten the one in the obsidian pinnacle, after you've beaten the game once and your unlocking the secret level of "???", the area you have to go to for obsidian pinnacle has an obsidian chest and a gold chest every run that you can farm for loot. Edit: If this has been mentioned already sry :^(

@TheD3rpyPotato :D one of them require the feather so may as well keep it on, but you can jump on the terrain and get around the gates/ walls pretty easily. The one with the pillar is the only one that requires practice. Just search soggy cave skip and you'll find them. Also learning how to unlock the 5 piston lock will make it so much easier

The catch with the desert temple is that it isn't guaranteed to spawn. It has multiple different configurations that are chosen randomly. A way to quickly see if it is the right configuration is by opening the map at the start and looking at the secrets. If it says 0/4 then you have the right configuration. Hope this helped

On PC you can skip the dungeon in soggy just connect a controller, get near the final door, put ur mouse on the door, and select it with the controller, it's called the Mandingo skip
