If it was James Wan that's saying something as he typically only makes horror movies (all the saw movies, insidious, the conjuring etc). You can see how emotional the team was getting during the beach scene, specifically Michelle, Vin, Tyrese, and Luda. Let's not forget that they've all been rocking together since the beginning, and they've all lost their brother. I can only imagine how tough it was for them filming that final scene. One of, if not THE saddest/heartbreaking concluding scenes in a movie. Why? Cause it was real. It really was goodbye. RIP Paul Walker. We miss you man, we really miss you.
@Lord_Bibulous5 ай бұрын
Michelle's pain is so visible. After this I remember watching an interview with the cast. When the interviewer asked her about Paul she couldn't speak. Pretty much stayed silent during the whole special. Then I remember in one of the recent movies (I think #9). At the end they're all in the backyard and Vin/Dom says "Someone is missing". Jordana/Mia says something like "He's on his way." Then they hear the car pull up. The look on Michelle's face just had a glimmer of hope that Paul would walk into that yard.
I know Michelle’s eyes were almost brimming with tears at 1:56… Along with the many occasions she had to hide behind her co-stars during Paul-related tributes at award ceremonies, as she started crying by then…💔

So in my town racing car nuts went to see the movie on launch night, there were officers at the theater, after the movie ended the racers went out, made sure that there was enough room and the area was clear, and they were doing the drift circles, the officers despite it being illegal, just stood there and let them. Then waved them off, because the officers had been in the movie too and understood. The drivers were doing it out of respect to the actor and the franchise which everyone thought was over there and then. A send off in their own way to the actor.

The moment you can see the change in their eyes, when the actors let go of their characters and show their real pain and disbelief. Then the music started and a whole movie theatre bursted into tears at the same time. I saw this documentary about saving sharks all those years ago, there he was in the background, mister Paul Walker. Never once appeared in the middle of the screen, not mentioned in the credits. Just making a difference. We lost one of the real ones when he left us. And that moment in the cinema reflected just that.

I remember coming home from my 9th birthday and I turned on the TV and the news was on and they had a picture of Paul and I thought it was an interview about furious 7 but they had announced he had died in a car crash. I was super sad and shocked that night and every year I’ve hated my birthday because of it.

@@luvvitality9156 that's really sad I really did not knew about paul walker or about the fast and furious series in the back but I remember I was 6 years old and I was going to school. And then came his picture on TV and showed that famous fast and furious celebrity paul walker died. I was a kid so I forgot the name but that day in school, I discussed that thing with everyone but no one knew about him as I live in India. But when my brother was seeing fast and furious 7 in 2015 and was seeing the last scene. I told him that I have probably seen that guy and then he told me he was a famous actor and racer who died in 2013 and then I remembered that I saw his news on TV. and I also watch the fast and furious series on 30 November.

Same. Not many things can do that to me, but this still does. I lost my parents, my uncle the year before and this song makes me think of them. My uncle purchased for me the toyota supra and mitsubishi eclipse speedshop cars. I been collecting them ever since. I been extending the collection to the original Fast and Furious cars (Mias, Doms, etc). I know this is not paul, I know it is his brother, which actually makes it even more emotional to see the great lengths they went to to make this work. You cannot put a price on that or family. Dom knew that well too. I miss my family, but I still remember them. I didnt know Paul, but I still miss him too just as we all do.
