Hooray! I am about to charge my Apple Watch6 sometime in the next two hours for it is down to 41% and it was charged 18 hours ago to only 89%. I try to avoid topping off the battery unless I'm about to travel or go for an endurance workout.

Nope 🙅🏻 Apple screwed up with all of the Apple Watch 6 series wearables and sold them with USB-A port cables instead of USB-C. Since the newly announced Apple Watch 7 is stated to charge 33% faster, will have a more scratch resistant screen, and it comes with a 20% larger screen, yep, I am waiting to pre-order that shiny Apple timepiece as of 17 hours ago.

WOW! Not only was that a pithy comment, but also you provided wonderful insight about the same products I am testing. I just finished a swim workout with the Garmin I.S. (Instinct Solar) and I have not plugged it in since 12/27/2020. The 15 day battery life did come at a cost though... I have not been able to wear my watch for about 20 hours over the past two weeks for I was charging it outdoor in the sun. Alas, working from home it is not a big deal for I am just on the computer typing away not moving much. The best charge I was able to achieve for nearly 4% per hour with direct sunlight and winter temperatures of 30 F - well done Garmin, well done! Yeah, the battery life for Apple Watches is quite disappointing for the millions of dollars Apple has at their disposal. I have higher hopes for the Apple Watch 6 LTE edition I am going to unbox later this week. And yes, the Instinct Solar charge far more quickly than any Apple Watch ever made and lasts 1,000% longer (without solar charging). How are you liking the🍏 Watch 5?

Yeah, I wasn't crazy about the Apple band quick-release design. I have heard first-hand from other Apple lovers, and yeah, they like them.

It sounds like your battery 🪫 health may be getting worse. My Apple Watch 6 is now 2.5 years old and its battery health is down to 84% and my watch doesn’t restart the charging cycles. To check your battery health… 1. Go to the app list on your Apple Watch 2. Open the settings app 3. Scroll down to battery 4. Click on battery health Now, if your battery health is not the cause, I would find a friend with an Apple Watch and ask to use their charging disc and see if the problem can be duplicated. I found this article on Apple's website: discussions.apple.com/thread/253273999 I used an Anker 20W charger, didn't have any issues, and then tried an Apple 20W charger, didn't not notice any differences with charging time or heat while charging between the Apple or Anker chargers. That being said, if your new Apple Watch SE did come with that cool, and new, USB-C charging puck, yeah, the 20Watt Anker or Apple would be the way to go. The Anker ones go on sale on Amazon quite often and Anker does a lot of testing to certify their chargers, cables, and gadgets function correctly with Apple. Honestly, I don't think it would matter much with the new Anker Nano chargers for their technology has increased so much over the years and their quality too!

I tried charging it with a 10W charger and then I had leave the house. Yeah, I never got to see how much faster it charged. I will be running more battery-charging tests and battery-life tests during October. The Apple Watch SE is my first Apple Watch since 2015, and yes, I too saved up and purchased it. I had to wait for Google to send me the ad-money revenue from my channel and then I added in some "mad-money" I had saved up. The price tag for the 44 mm version I purchased was $309.00 included shipping & taxes here in Utah. Your Apple Watch is not charging at all and your using a Samsung charger, what...? Apple utilizes a proprietary hockey puck charging disc and does not yet support Qi wireless charging. If you have been attempting to use a Samsung charger to juice-up your Apple Watch, nope, sorry, you are not going to succeed in the year 2022. I tried several different chargers with the Apple Watch ULTRA and only Apple charging discs were successful.

My apologies if my comment came off arrogant. That was not my intent. I didn't know that your USB-C block was connected to a MagSafe. I have heard of iPhones or Android phones having their internal wireless charging just break or wear out over time. I hope you can get your gadget fixed & Happy Holidays.

I think you're okay to charge it fully to 100% once or twice weekly, but not every single charge. Many are saying the happy life of a battery is 30 to 80% and to do several trickle charges during the day instead of one long charge once per day or once every other day.

Honestly, 18 Watts sounds like a bit much for the iPhone SE. I would only use a 12Watt or 10Watt charger with your USB-C Apple Watch cable. I did read that newer Watch SE sold by Apple now come with an Apple USB-C charging cable and that is awesome! When I went on their website Apple recommends a 20W USB-C power adapter. However, I had the first generation Apple Watch SE and just did more reading and even models purchased today do not support the same fast charging as the Apple Watch 7. I would recommend going with a 10W or 15W USB-C charging brick by Apple or by Anker. The Apple Watch SE charges at the same speed as the Apple Watch 5 or the Watch 6. The newest model, an Apple 7 was the first wearable for Apple to add ‘fast ⚡️charging’

That is a tough question... 1. I placed my Apple Watch into airplane mode at night 2. Turned the brightness down to level 1, the lowest setting 3. Limit the number of apps your Apple Watch gets notifications from all day long 4. Don’t use AOD (always on display) As for the two days, well, the other 50 variables depend on so, so, so many things. GPS usage for an outdoor workout really zaps the battery along with streaming music via Wi-Fi, LTE, or Bluetooth. Best of luck 🤞 and thank you for watching!

How to make the battery life go up to around 2-3 days of battery use on the Apple Watch battery life.

That is a wonderful and loaded question. First, what model of Apple Watch do you have and is it the LTE version? How often do you make phone calls with your Apple Watch? How much LTE streaming are you using? Do you often listen to music via headphones with your Watch? For my Apple Watch 6 LTE 44 mm model the max battery life reached was 41 hours with a mix of LTE usage, GPS workout tracking, phone calls, Bluetooth headphones for music, over 100 notifications, sleep tracking, and airplane mode enabled while sleeping. Yeah. The Apple Watch 6 performs well for a solid 25 - 40 hours if you push the battery life from 100 down to 0%. However, you don’t need to for it does have fast charging 🤩 while you are on a conference call for work, taking a shower, driving to work, or just watching media - plop that Watch on that $20 hockey puck and juice up your iWatch for 10 or 25 minutes and then you are good to go for MANY more hours 👍🏻

I used a 10W charger for that is what the Anker charger supported.

I normally used the Apple 5W charger when charging the Apple Watch SE series 6. I just chatted with an Apple Support Representative and they said a 10W wall charger can be used and it should charge the watch even faster. Now, you can purchase one on Apple.com if you like. Or you could save some $$$ and buy a compatible Anker wall charger. The Apple rep recommended this 20W charger so it must be backward compatible or at least compatible with the new Apple watches. When it comes to an Apple gadget, yeah, OEM is best. That disclaimer being said, I've had great experiences using Anker products. Airplane mode, lots and lists of airplane ✈️ mode... My max battery 🔋 life for my Apple Watch 6 LTE 44mm model has only been 44 hours. If you turn off raise to wake, limit your LTE and or phone usage, enable airplane mode while sleeping, and disable feckless notifications for your social medial apps, yes, it could be done. If your Apple Watch, or any smartwatch, remains connected to the smartphone overnight, but is not worn for 8 to 9 hours. Yes, a loss of 1% battery life per hour is pretty normal for an Apple Watch or Samsung Galaxy Watch.

Yes, the iPhone SE 2020 version came with the USB-A to lightning port cable, wired headphones, and a 5W Apple charging brick all the retail price of $399.00. I still have the same one I purchased in April of this year and I really like. One negative thing though... the battery life has become worse over the past five or six weeks. I just checked this morning and my battery health is down to only 94%. I have been using mostly a #Yootech wireless charger and perhaps that has been my battery's downfall. I am doing more research about it and will chat with Apple Support sometime in the next 72 hours. Once I have all my research together I'll create a follow-up video for you Jaida, and the others that follow "portable smartphones". The iPhone SE is so nice and it is the first smartphone that has actually fit into my pockets since 2017. I looked at the newly released Apple iPhone 12 Mini last night and WOW, it even smaller than the SE, yet it has more screen real estate. And yes, I am considering upgrading.

WOW! I would contact Apple Support A.S.A.P. in my opinion the Apple Watch 6 from 0% charging with an Apple OEM cable connected to a 5W Apple charging brick should NOT take longer than two hours. You could have a bad charging coil inside your Apple Watch, a bad charging cable, or your 5W brick is ready to be replaced. I've been charging mine with an Apple 12W charging brick and it functions beautifully. However, whether I use 10W or 12W the Apple Watch 6 charges at the same rate about 1.2 to 1.5 battery percent per minute.

A fabulous, pithy comment - thanks! I didn't notice much difference at all. The changes with fast charging were in the Apple Watch SE hardware & software and not by the charger. I would recommend using ateast a 5W charging brick and an Apple 🍏 one at that.

Thanks for the questions Tejas K. Funny enough, just last night I went to check my battery % on my own Apple Watch 6 (14 months old now) and the timepiece has fallen into "watch-mode" only and just was displaying the time. I placed on the Apple charging disc, the red circle turned green. I waited for 20 minutes, returned, and it was still in that silly 'Power Reserve' mode. I waited another 15 or 20 minutes, came back, and it was still acting as if it wasn't charged enough - UGH! I held down the power button for around 10 - 20 seconds and it finally booted up. I just checked and my battery health is down to just 88% now after using the watch daily for 14 months. If yours if not even a year old I would not hesitate to contact Apple Support via chat online or just visit an Apple Store. I'm going to book an appointment with an Apple Store Guru next week and see what is going on my with mine. I was lucky, and I bought the Apple Care Plan with my iWatch for I knew I was going to be doing battery tests. If you don't want to contact Apple Support, yeah, I would suggest synchronizing your iWatch thrice, and then doing a factory reset to see if that fixes the issues. By the way, have you installed any funky third-party apps?

@@PeterHerget Unfortunately I didn’t buy the Apple care plan for extended warranty and my warranty is going to expire in 20 days, will definitely contact apple support before it expires. As for any third party apps, no I haven’t really installed any, I like very few apps in my phone/watch, will still see if I have anything that I don’t need though. But just a thought, any app on the watch shouldn’t slower the charging, a poorly written app might affect the battery backup but can’t really slow down charging. Btw I see this bug was introduced by apple in the late of 2021 and it affected a lot of apple watch series with the slow charging bug. Idk if they solved it or not but I am on the latest OS available, and still facing this issues. Also a lot of users faced this issue after software update :(

Third party apps could easily introduce a myriad of issues; however, the Apple Store does a pretty good job at blocking crappy Apple apps on their phones and watches. Yeah, either Online Chat or an Apple Store are your best bet and you have 18 days left!

I would use the charging cable that was shipped with your Watch SE. As for the 20W brick, nope, that is too much power for that Apple Watch model.

Depending upon the model of Apple Watch... you can use up to a 15 or 20W charger. Though, it is better safe than sorry, and I normally use a 5W Apple charging brick to charge my Apple Watch 6 🤓
