Having done concrete removal the hard way some 50 years ago, proper equipment such as pallet forks is an excellent approach to keep injuries to a minimum.

I bought a set of bolt-on forks for my TYM 474 tractor when I watched your tear-out. Got a 40x30 cracked driveway out in less than an hour. 4 overloaded dump trailer trips to the concrete plant to dump it all, and was done, BY MYSELF in 3 hrs, including the dump runs. I had planned 2 full days thinking about jackhammer and scooping. Even used the forks to cut up some rooted grass and dirt and got an extra 12x30ish dug out and ready for gravel in an hour with scooping! Didn't think I would have time to set up that extra space in a weekend! Thanks for the tip. Saved me renting equipment and saved me a buttload of time overall! If I had known, I would save almost a day and a half?.. I could have gotten my "crew" together and done the pour the next day!
