Whole point of an e-bike is to be accepted as a bicycle so you can ride it everywhere. If it looks like a motorcycle, sure I can lprove it's an e-bike and that I can legally ride it there, but I'd rather avoid the drama of having that fact contested in the first place. And I also just prefer the way a bike feels. Also agreed on the handlebars, I'd rather be able to sit upright with higher handlebars, and not lean all the way over on low bars.
