I dont care about the outrageous physics but for the love of god make it a different franchise like imagine the next John Wick had him fighting Transformers and somehow even that would make more sense

F10: the crew goes back in time to undo all the events of the entire series.

The brother character was created so that they could bring Mia back into the fold while still having a (small) reason for Brian to stay out of everything. If one of them had to stay behind, it had to be Brian. For Mia, it really was a family matter. It's far from perfect, but they have a brutally tough situation to navigate with Paul Walker's death and not wanting to kill or replace his character. I'm cool with it.

One of the reasons I've always loved the Doctor Who series is that you never get to that stage where you're numb to the dangers faced by The Doctor. This is a sci-fi series with a protagonist that has survived over a thousand years yet you're still more worried for his safety than that of Dom in FF9.

They went from street racing to going into space for saving the world. Next, they join the Avengers to defeat Galactus.

Who would have thought this all started with a movie where Vin Diesel and his criminal crew attack and steal trucks. And he went to prison after beating a rival racer to near death. And now he's the main hero. I mean they introduced Shaw as a violent murderer and made him the protagonist. This series just doesn't care.

Honestly, the last one I saw was Fast 5. I think. The one where they drag a safe through a city. After that I didn't really care for the direction they were going. However i'll admit, though I liked the street racing focus of the older ones I don't think they would be able to do 8+ sequels without going stale.
