Well done. It seems time consuming because you are explaining how to do it. But if you do it alone, it will be very easy and fast as it needs multiplication and addition of two single digits making it very easy and fast. If there is zero in one or both sums, many squares will be 0/0, making it further easier! Thanks for sharing...

I prefer nikhilam method or urdhva thiriak over this...but this is also a really niceway..for those who don't know urdhva thiriak, its single line cross multiplication using vedic maths....google it to know more....

No. I always faster than my friend using this trick. you can speed up the process by not draw the lines. Yes just simply put number in fraction and you'll get the answer. Example at 7*3 you write 2/1 and so on
