I followed his I instructions however I needed more room to see better. So, I just removed most air out of tire and it was much easier to see and you hand around.🙏

great video thanks. I got the light bulb switched, works now. However I dropped the damn clip that holds the large black light bulb cover down towards the ground behind the wheel cover. Anyone know how to retrieve it? Where is "the screw off down at the bottom to get it" mentioned in the video?

have to take some screws out of the lower plastic cover under the front of the car to get that out or fish it out with something of length.

Had to undo some of the screws ar the bottom to open up that cover to reach up into the bay and grab it.

Jack up , remove tire and put in a jack stand. This guy must do these bulbs all the time. Also, if the car is older, the plastic connector for the bulb can easily break due to the heat and age. Be careful if doing it yourself.

Wrong, 1st bulb I've ever done. Putting car on jacks is pointless unless u want to die possibly in ur driveway. No need to be careful if u follow my vid hahahaha...booh

I am seeing all kinds of bulb options, LED, Halogen and prices vary greatly. Did you look to upgrade or improve or did you go with stock?

I went with stock since that year model didn't change over to the bright white halos...check the video description on what i used from amazon...i didnt go halogen bc i thought it would look off with the older style halo yellow rings...

This will change the headlights only, not the halos. Changing the halos is a totally different install.

Okay so not that first cover you opened with the quarter but the second cover I ended up dropping and I think its at the bottom of my bumper. You said you unscrewed it out to get it. Is it 100% necessary to get it or can I wait until I get my oil change and asked the mechanic to get it for me?

If I rmember correctly, I thought it sbapped in place to help retain the bulb. Your call really. If it were me, I would get it out. You might drive and it fall out down the road and have to buy another one.

I don't think it snaps in place to help retain the bulb but then again I don't know anything about cars I just thought it's a cover, you mentioned not to drop it. Either way, I'll just have to borrow tools from my work and I'll have to do it tomorrow. But I was able to change out my bulbs so thank you!

Okay, I rewatched. The bulb is retained by a metal piece inside the housing. The black cover is to keep "stuff" out of the headlight housing. Takes about 10 mins to get the housing out from the bottom. Just undo some of the plastic screws and reach up in there to grab it or use something to hook it.

Each bulb functions as a low and high beam, they aren't separate bulbs.

To replace the bulb for this model, no wires were removed for bulb replacement. So, I am unsure how to answer your question unfortunately.

Cant get the plug off. You say metal clip right here but dont say where. Pushing everything and it's not coming free. Entire bulb moving and I dont want that. I need to disconnect the elec. But HOW

@@pignapoke6772 the clip is a metal retainer clip. you should be able to pop it off and remove the light bulb, provided you have the same model and whatnot. No worries on critical, it was tough getting the camera in there so I totally understand.

Look under the front fender wells and see if u have an sccess panel. You will need to turn ur wheel out all the way. If u do have the panel then yes.

It’s a clip, clean the area really well and look closely, it’s not really a clip it’s a flap that you have to turn counter clockwise to open

Lmao i lost that last piece 😢😢 its in bewteen the headlight the radiator support and the bottom all stuck i can't reach it anymore 😢😢😢 but hey light work just fine! 😊 i think i will just have to go to AutoZone and get a new one anf find out how to take out off the motor later. 😕

Take the lower plastic valence off underneath the front. It's held in with a couple sceews.
