Ottawa, On. On the dyno today, we tapped into the potential of a BMW that was ASLEEP and is now AWAKE. The BMW 135i, equipped with the N54 twin-turbo straight-six, ran from 2008 to 2010 in the North American market. It delivered roughly 300HP and 300 lb-ft of torque from the factory.
On the dyno, we first cleaned up the boost curve and adjusted the fuel mapping. After adjusting the Twin Turbo 3.0L, we were able to make this 2009 BMW into a SCARY street-beast. We boosted the torque by over 28.5% (+82.82 lb-ft) and added 35.33% HP (+89.03 HP) to this sharp-looking BMW!
CORRECTION: in the first few seconds this BMW is identified as an M54. It should be an N54.
