I was the clutch and trans guy for the Bise 4th gen Camaro that went 263mph in the Tx standing mile years back. Did it with a LsX 427 and T56 H pattern with G force gears. It’s definitely not easy. By today’s standards it was slow in the first half mile at only 200mph it picked up 63 mph in the back half, that was impressive to me at least.
