I feel your pain. I ran a 1984 Ford short box flare side with a 347 stroker and a NP435. Slow shifts big rpm gaps. I eventually swaped to a toploader. Those farmer 4spd's are all super tough.

Congrats, most people don’t know how hard it is to hit them goals a guy sets for his personal pleasure. I will say that 2/3 shift is killing some of your momentum and time. But hey you were there and I was working on my junk. Hopefully we will see ya there soon

Chad, for the shifter try Talon Grips. It's made for gun grips, but the DIY material they sell will work for your application.

Great video. Glad you got it into the 8s on motor. That 339 sounds great. I think once you go back to a big motor you should put the 339 in a Squarebody S10 and keep doing squarebody stuff racing. 😊😊
