Texas A&M RB Devon Achane
Sophomore 5’9 185 lbs
Texas A&M RB Devon Achane is one of the fastest players in college football. He was a track star in high school & showcases his sprinter speed on the field. Last season, Achane split carries with Isaiah Spiller and still rushed for 910 yards & 9 TDs. Next season, he’s expected to put up even better numbers as the team’s top dawg.

Yea, when he’s in the open he’s notorious from running just a bit farther than the guy’s chasing him so his acceleration and velocity isn’t at an elite level, but when he needs to hit the hole and result of the run is still unknown he’s insanely quick.

Of the pre-season All-America lists I’ve seen so far, Achane wasn’t on one list ….even third team….even as a return man. That’s sickening. Maybe he’ll use the diss as motivation.

@@trickortreat5226 Uhhh no he won't? Devon Achane is RB1 and has more than proved that after his last season. Amari Daniels will get reps as RB2 or RB3 but Achane is the starter and it doesn't take much to realize this

Achane is 100% the starter. Daniels or Johnson may come in if we need to power one into the endzone but there’s no doubt Achane starts unless he gets injured.

@@calebwells2937 It's not who's simply 1 or 2. Spiller had 50 more touches than Achane last year because he's built for it and Achane's not. Achane would have to average 15 touches a game which he's only ever done twice (Week 7 & 8) before the coaches cooled him down to 10-12 per game to finish out the year.
