C'mon guys, this is clearly the best route for people who haven't played the game for as long time as u have... Give it a chance and go for it, people that haven't played the game doesn't know any route, its clearly hard for them to go thru woods and get lost instantly! but yet, i should recommend looting some building as medic, police station, supermarket's on the way there. Btw nice video :’)

My favorite route, Cherno -> Bolota -> Kemenka -> Up to Pavlovo base -> Pavlovo -> Zele base -> Vybor base-> NWAF.

It's funny to think I could get dropped into the woods on this map and know almost exactly where I am in 30sec. Experience is the most valuable asset in the game not guns or charm. Eventually you'll start to get it, it's a good feeling and an experience you don't really get from other games. There's a lot to love on DayZ

After watching this video I now play this song on my way up to the NWAF . It makes it so much more enjoyable. Great video 📹 👍

My way from benenzino is Gorka>Stary Novo and Sobor>NWAF

maybe it s not the shortest way but this is my favourite route: Elektro, Staroe, Guglovo, Novy Sabor, Stary Sabor, (sometimes Dichina MB), NWA.

Funny this is the route I take. Didn’t even watch the vid before I was just randomly running around once and found myself at NWAF. Ever since then this has been the route that I take

Elektro (you get started off their with some decent loot and maybe a few people to travel with) -> Mogielvka (a little more loot, you should be armed and have backpack/food at this point) -> Stary and Novy Sobor (usually stay on the outskirts if I have some decent loot, but go into military tents sometimes) -> Kabanino (a little more loot) -> Vybor MB (you now should have some decent military/civilian loot) -> NWAF (PVP, competing character) -> Tisy if survived, and if I survive Tisy, go back to coast, give away gear, and repeat!

4 cans of soda and a can of peaches got me to the town before the airfeild

we got total party killed last night due to an erant shot that not only brought a horde of zombies, but alerted the 2 people in the building we were attempting to hide from said zombies, and one of my guys used this route and got back up to the northern part of airbase before the zombie bodies had even despawned...im like wtf how did you get up there so fast and he sent me this link....might add the campers were still there and killed him again but still....lol great vid

I found the easiest way is to spawn at solnichty or a few clicks around and just head directly west, should take a decent time but on the way you should find a few towns and houses to get lucky to find suplies

Best way to navigate to, getting familier with the map of cherno is easy when your knowledge becomes second nature, once you've spawned literally everywhere, your a familier to the forests, it's really just remembering where you are and have been

For new players I recommend maybe getting a base going so you have a place to re-arm yourself. The problem with the airbase is the amount of deadly players so you want to go in at night and turn on and off a flashlight every so often to get your bearings and loot it that way.

If you get a svet/ novo spawn just keep following the main road west, it will take you through a couple towns for food and water and you’ll eventually end up with nwaf just south of you and tisy just north of you, plus if you want there’s a couple smaller military bases you can detour to on the way, izurvive is a great map to use as reference. Side note, items spawns are divided into 4 tiers, 1 being on the coast and 4 basically being only tisy military base, so if you just wanna go for the high tier stuff skip nwaf and go straight to tisy

I just spawn left or right side of cherno, and run up to nadezhdino then it’s literally a straight shot taking the road up to rogovo and from there u go to vmc/kab and up to nwaf. It sounds like a lot but once you learn exactly how to get there and take the route a lot it’s actually rlly easy

I usually try get a spawn near Turovo or Svetloyarsk then shoot straight for Cernaya Polana once you get there shoot southwest north of Kpachoctab loot the military camp north east of the air strip shoot northwest passed Svergino and loot Troitskoe military shoot southwest straight and you'll be there in a jiffy while geared mabe with a baby KA or Viaga if not they spawn plenty of Sk's and Tisy is northwest of military airfield make sure to loot the north camp area its a hot spot for weapons in the airfield.

I found this oddly relaxing

Also, if you follow the same directions UP UNTIL you hit the "Twin Towers" at about 2:59/3:00 mark there is a little path you come up on. Its the green path. If you take that green path, it will take you all the way to the Airfield too. Probably a little quicker. Now the green path does stop at the road that leads to the airfield and then goes south of the airport BUT if you follow the road into the airport you will be fine. Sorry if anyone else has already called this.

it's a nice guide but not every player wants to constantly respawn for a cherno or berzeino spawn

its just for people who dont know cherna and never heard about using an interactive loot map beside playing ;)

Kami route up to rog down to the lake follow the road until you hit the 1st town staroye then follow the left road until you hit guglovlo then follow the road to novo then starry etc and there tents to get equipped on the road and theres along of animal spawn on this route and water pumps

I have a pretty good route to NWAF spawn in kambiwobo follow the red hiking trail you will reach a small military base camp loot there continue on the trail end at a small town loot there then merge onto green trail and you’re in NWAF

Good video...... but....... I can do it from Balota to NWAF= 9100 meters or 400 meters per min ( max run speed) with no food water, map, compass, or gps. I can teach anyone to do the same. Should have just looked west and ran. Which way is west? Easy, just look down at your feet! Your shadow was pointing west the entire time. (morning sun was in the east) Or shadow from bldg, tree, player, rock. Or you can use the clouds, sun, shadow, moon, stars, roads, power lines to navigates the map. Kudos for using the power line as a road. Power lines all start somewhere and go to towns to supply power. Best way to go on a very dark or rainy night as you can look up over head and use the light from the sky to see them on the darkest night.

3:00 there is a hiking trail there this is what you do ignore what he said and follow the green trail it’s cuts the distance in two basicly

I have over 1300 hours in this game Stuff like this just feels natural to me it’s kinda easy for me to get to Northwest they feel at this point

i usually do 2 different runs, Elektro>Staroye>town i cant remember name of>Novy>Stary>Kabanino> then NWAF or i go to Vybor first or Berenzino>Gorka>Novy>Stary>Kabanino>NWAF

We made an outpost me and my friends at bay tikhaya and the rest of the group made their actual base at novo now i gotta run from barlota all the way to novo i think the meat is spoiled in the tent but i have a couple of food on me imma travel via shore so i think ill be fine

Maybe the fastet Way and easy, but NOT the best Way :) --> for best Loot Locations get a Cherno Spawn -> NSAF -> Military Base -> Zelenogorsk -> Myshkino -> VYbor -> NWAF
