I have continued to think that pushups, with 2-3 second isometric holds would be good to forearm, tricep and wrist strength. So maybe two pushups, three second holds until near failure. Chest touches to pushup is another good example, or 10-15 pushups and then a plank until failure.

@@WeGetLoansApproved it's primarily a shoulder movement but also great for the serratus anterior and triceps. It doesn't really hit the upper chest because almost all the load is on the shoulders and triceps (the clavical connects the sternum to the shoulders so this isn't technically chest either).

@@adamcarlton3312 I’m kind of an old-school workout guy, but your comment made me check the new school just to make sure that something hasn’t changed, in regards to terms. I’m so amped I came across your KZfaq shorts. As a beginner, I got to a certain point, w my previous exercises, where they weren’t doin jack shit for me, anymore, so I just doubled my amount of reps, but kept the same exercises. I ended up slightly injuring my left trap. I haven’t done diamond push ups in 17 years, but decided to try em’ for the 1st time again, this morning. I followed your 10 reps regimine and did diamond push ups, 10 sets of 10 reps and did crunches, 10 sets of 10 reps, also. trap, albeit a little tender, still, hasn’t bothered me, really, at all, today. my goal is to get back to being able to do my daily exercise routine from highschool. diamond push ups, 8 sets of 25 reps, and crunches, 8 sets of 25-50 reps. I’m so amped to be able to do the exercises I did in highschool, again, and work my way back to being able to do the exact same amount of reps per set that I did in highschool. Thank you x 1,000!
