Fatah-2 is Iran's hypersonic missile with glide technology. After Iran's demonstration in the Negev desert using older generation missiles, it's pretty clear that Fatah would bypass the numerous anti-ballistic missile systems that Israel/USA have in their arsenal.

iranian military officials said the missiles and drones used in the successful Israeli attack where older version and about to be decommissioned ones that needed to disposed. the missiles were 10 to 20 years old. Iran's newest and latest drones and missiles have not been used and will be used only the next retaliation. officials further said that the hypersonics were not used and their duties are to take out the air-defenses and to make the enemy sky vulnerable. The next attack will come from 7 places and not just from Iran. Also at the time of Iran and Israeli-US-Nato war, Russia will invade fully and annexed Ukraine and move through eastern Europe and at the same time china will take Taiwan and N. Korea will invade S. Korea and attack Japan and so the world will be in a WWIII. So WWIII now depends on Israel next move.

The one thing I don't understand is how Iran hopes to sustain a prolonged conflict with its stuttering economy? Recall that even the mighty Soviet Union collapsed because its weak economy bled itself to death to fund a localized war in Afghanistan. Otherwise the Soviet Union in the 80s was a vast military superpower, with its own advanced space, nuclear and missile technology. Iran is nowhere near the Soviet Union, and Afghanistan was a nobody compared to the financial and military-tech capabilities of Israel. What's the point of all this bravado?

All of you guys seem to know that Israel lives off US charity. It means Israel has a lot of money to fall upon. If you know it already you should have got your answer already. Iran is essentially hoping that Russia or China will back it, in case of a long drawn conflict. That's a risky gamble because Russia is already bogged down in Ukraine and China may not be willing to get sucked into a new confrontation with the US.
