This is definitely my new favorite episode. Not only did we get more lore on the Irregulars but a great explosive encounter that ended with a bang. Well played Joe, well played.

To me it's amazing how Wrath has managed to solve a ton of encounters (and not only of the combat type) during these two seasons. I've seen so many people play warlock only to minmax the hell out of it with multiclassing, yet Joe shows us we can play a great character with a single class

Watching Wilhelm as the future king accidentally pledging his loyalty/soul (and more?) to an eldritch horror demon cat is both heartbreaking and really funny.

I need an animated scene. Just imagine how badass Wilhelm would look. BlackCoffee with a smug look. Pan to Wilhelm dashing to avoid explosion, stops, twists around while dropping to one knee, aiming backwards to kill the aarakocra. As it hits the ground the explosion doubles in size and Wilhelm now walking and reloading his crossbow. He says "Stand down, Black Coffee"

Logistics: Eldritch & River can help preserving the body in a matter of hours. Then they can use the teleportation circle in this river city of gold to "jump" to Emberwood Village safely [or River could try a risky teleport to Castlehom, a place she knows]. Then they have to ride to the other side of the lake (unless they use Sending to relay a message for the druids to come). | . Only Rudi is needed to be present for this; since she will be the one asking Black Cooffee to return to life & offering him [her?] a new opportunity on their new life. -> Sebastian could also come to provide a quick return via Teleport (probably targeting the circle at Emberwood Village). Everyone reunites at Camp Dawn (aka: Drakkenheim_Adjacent); to continue north.

At minimum that is an aspect that should be investigated. Rudi is very needed on handling the bandits. And if they are her former squad members, then the negotiations are pretty much easier than otherwise...
