It would've been easier for Amber to have held a grudge against her Father all those years since her teen pregnancy, but she found it in her heart to forgive him, and this goes to show that it's never too late to make amends with your family! He was wrong to react that way, but fortunately she did well & found out how to move forward without her Father. I'm glad that they can reconnect years later & he can get to know his grandchild & make up for lost time with his grown daughter as well! We may not always like or approve of our family's decisions, but at the end of the day they're still your family & you can learn to agree to disagree & still be a part of each other's lives. My parents would react the same way as this Dad did ,they always tell me "If you come back home with a pregnancy you're out of this house .Go to school - get married and then give me grandbabies. That way you don't make your life harder and you don't bring us deep disappointment,we love you and we want you to be righteous and have a relationship with Jesus Christ." But I don't blame them ,you shouldn't bring babies into your parents house , it's dishonorable, shameful and disrespectful . But of course if it does happen they won't leave me out for long , it'll just be for DISCIPLINE ,and then because they love me they'll forgive me and correct me in my choices 😊.
