If your Insio AX aids are properly inserted you may need to request your audiologist remakes them with an open jaw impression to allow a more secure fit in the ear.

Hi Alex I appreciate you watching and taking the time to share your experiences and thoughts. I am wearing mine now and streaming I just checked with the Signia Assistant within the app and was able to adjust music streaming. Your audiologist can adjust the frequency response for streaming (sorry if you have already done all this)! I am not sure what a waffle cone is, unless that is different terminology for venting (the hole that runs through the aid to allow natural sound in and the resonance of your voice out). Re connectivity there seemed to be an issue after one of the iOS updates but the update rolled out on 9th December 2022 seemed to remedy this. Has your audiologist updated your aids to this latest version. Some of our patients have also inadvertently been on an older iOS version even though auto updates are on it may need running manually. Re shelling your aids or reducing the vent or both would also increase the depth of sound re music but there would be a trade off with your voice. You may have already passed this point but it is possible to exchange hearing aids typically in the first 60 days if you are not happy with the devices.

@@zone1hearing Mine is the model with the aid over the ear and receiver in canal. The cone is mesh-like which I call waffle. I've been through the updates in the audiologist office, updated the iphone app, and been on bluetooth technical support with Signia. When I go in to the audiologist, we just reboot and it works fine - for a couple of hours but never into the next day after you take them off the charging device. There is nothing "mind blowing" about them. They cost dearly and underwhelm.

@@alexmcneily OK this video this is about the in the ear model, hence the confusion! Re the things in the previous post about the music have you had your audiologist carry out those? You may benefit from a custom tip as the AX 7 RIC has own voice processing which means you can enjoy the extra benefits of a more closed fitting improved noise reduction and directionality and more immersive sounding music without feeling occluded there are three music modes which can be programmed differently from the up to 5 other programs. So to confirm you are stating there is nothing mind blowing about a model you neither own or have tried?

@@zone1hearing I love my Insio AX5, hat I was referring to was the Sound the Video was recorded: a hally room and Not so Good Micro Phone and Position.

It was just a spontaneous thing we did on the phone as we had a few mins spare when I was up North visiting my parents. I promise I will do better next time. @KaterMUC
